Re: Fiance Visa Checklist

Thank you for your quick reply CR001!
Thank you for your advice, I will take out some unnecessary documents.
I was sending copies because I had read somewhere that the ECO can keep your originals if you don't send copies? And we will need the originals again to apply for the spouse visa later.

Re: Fiance Visa Q's

Thank you so much for your advice! I tried to apply for the NARIC ELA but they got an email saying they couldn't provide a certificate because the degree was taught in Australia and was therefore obviously done in English. I have the statement of comparability to a UK degree. He's Indonesian btw, no...

Duplicate bank statements for settlement visa

Hello, I just wanted some advice for bank statements. I have an online only account so my bank has told me that the only 'original' bank statements I have are what I see on screen but it's not on bank headed paper, it's basically just the transaction list. The bank has printed my bank statements for...

Re: Tourist visa for my non EEA spouse to visit - potential

Thank you for your reply and advice. Just feel a little sad and frustrating that these are the 'rules'. We are apart so we can reach eligibility for the fiance visa but we'd likely be refused a short visit in the meantime, because of our relationship. Anyway, we'll have to try and think of another o...

Documents for registering marriage in the UK

Hello, My fiance and I are looking into applying for a fiance visa. I have a few questions I was hoping people could help me with. I understand that registry offices won't register your marriage until both parties are present and I think I read that they will provide a letter or email saying that yo...
