ILR query

Hi,
Can a person be eligible for ILR if spent 4 years in the UK continuously on a Tier 2 Dependent VISA followed by another 4 years on Skilled Worker(Health and Care Worker) VISA? Or has to spend one more year on VISA?
Spouse is UK citizen for 1 year.

Thanks…

Partner and Child Query

Hi, Would be grateful if someone could advise. I have an ILR status. I moved to the UK in August 2015 on Tier 2(General) VISA with Partner and Child (both PBS Dependent VISAs) at the same time. Partner switched from Dependent VISA to Tier 2(General) VISA after 4 years in August 2019 which is valid t...

ILR application of child with one parent

Hi, I was hoping I get some guidance on ILR(settlement) application of an under-18 child with one parent. I came to the UK under Tier 2 (General) VISA in 2015 with my spouse and child(both as PBS dependents). I am eligible to apply for ILR in July 2020. Last year, my spouse had to migrate from PBS D...

Re: VISA Refusal - help for next course of action

Dear all, I applied for administrative review of my above mentioned VISA refusal based on the following points - 1) That my refusal letter stated that the reason for refusal stated that my CoS doesnt indicate that the job was advertised on Univeral Jobmatch. 2) However, this is not right as any job ...

Re: VISA Refusal - help for next course of action

Thank you everyone for the guidance. Apologies for jumping the guns here. But my next question comes in advance in an attempt to save a potential day from getting wasted while gathering information, should everything look to be getting back in place. Now, in the refusal letter it clearly states that ...

Re: VISA Refusal - help for next course of action

Are you suggesting that the HO is most probably correct? On the balance of probabilities, yes. After all it is HO that administers and implements guidance for Tier 2 visas through both their internal procedures, and procedures for sponsor to follow, all based on the relevant legislation. not sure h...

Re: VISA Refusal - help for next course of action

Thank you for your reply. I contacted the sponsor. They claim that the RLMT was properly met. They sent me an email stating the same and that they have asked the Universal Jobsmatch website to send a screenshot of the vacancy. Now waiting for the website's reply. Wondering how two parties could cla...

Re: VISA Refusal - help for next course of action

1. You will likely lose an appeal. The rules regarding RLMT are very strict and the full and proper process MUST be done. The sponsor should know this. Likely they will have to redo the RLMT in the proper way and issue another CoS. 2. No, HO does not have a reimbursement policy for visa fees, if an...

VISA Refusal - help for next course of action

Hi everyone, I need help and further advice regarding my VISA urgently. I had applied for my Tier 2 Change of employment VISA (with partner and child). The ground of refusal states that the employer didnt satisfy the RLMT appropriately. The job was advertised in the NHS Jobs Website (for doctors) bu...
