Re: How to apply for UK passport for pre ww2 polish citizen

I believe it is very likely that your grandfather would be granted Polish passport, as the government's policy is rather welcoming in such situations. However, the administrative way that you'd have to undergo would also be very 'Polish'. Go for it if you've got time. If you won't get a proper answe...

Re: Did anyone with late WRS registration get British Citize

I also believe you'll be fine. They probably regard non-WRS registration similar to students without CSI; not illegal or in breach of any immigration laws but not able to exercise treaty rights and therefore unable to count this period towards PR etc. If this was true, she wouldn't have obtained DC...

Re: Eea wife threatened to take son to her country, pls help!

Although this might have changed already, the general rule to obtain national ID for a child (when in Poland) required presence of just one parent and this document is enough to travel across EU. Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

I definitely was here in 2011:) I think I've got quite straightforward case: 5y EEC + 6y DCPR, WRS compliant, all paperwork tip top. I've sent them complete set of payslips covering 2006-2016 (one employer!), no crimes, etc. Hopefully they will have the same understanding. Just noted, You've applied...

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

Haha, I was not doing anything dodgy :) I went there as a traveller in peaceful times, no one had an idea that things will start to change the following year.

Thanks for your responses, actually I've passed Life in the UK yesterday and I'm off now to the Post Office to send everything to UKVI :)

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

Hello All I'm about to submit the AN application, just reassuring myself about a couple of things: EEC National (A8) Arrived 2004 PR document obtained in 2010 1) The application is asking about the journeys outside UK in the last 5 years. Shall I just stick to this and don't go beyond in providing t...
