Hello Please I would like to find out if it's possible to visit Gibraltar for a few days with an issued UK Multiple entry visa issued for six months. I checked the site and it said "holding EU issued family permits, UK Residence Permits valid for a period of 12 months or more, UK Biometric Resi...

Re: Only EU PERMITTED family member update their status here

@sajji No update from my ends. Have you been waiting since the acknowledgment in August??? You have to keep sending them emails weekly and possibly post a letter (registered post) asking questions so you don't keep waiting without hearing anything. 10months quite long. No other person has updated so...

Re: Best Route please

This is my confusion
Because on INIS site there's no other permission for EU spouses other than EU1 form. Because if I'm applying to join spouse that's EU, they advices short stay C and eu1.

So I don't know if there would be a transitional agreement for those on EUfam4

Re: Best Route please

Hello guys,
We've been looking at other options.
Please just for clarification,

If he's from NI and working in Ireland does that qualify him as exercising his rights or not. He does not have an Irish passport.

Thanks

Re: Using UK Bank Statement for Visa

From personal experience Similar situation as you There's no problem I've used my UK bank a/c for visitor visa and it was granted in two days. Just explain the source of money or if there's any bulk. It would also help if you add a bank account from your country where you live even if the amount is ...

Re: Only EU PERMITTED family member update their status here

There was no specific reason, there was really really no reason . They looked at all documents and said they don't believe he's a permitted member. Their issue was not on dependency but on the dependant's personal life eg why they travelled, why a friend paid money in their account. You should mail ...

Re: Only EU PERMITTED family member update their status here

They basically were reasons concerning the dependant's personal life. They asked for review, nothing next to be done other than leaving as from what I've heard, it will still be rejected.

Any update on your case

Re: Only EU PERMITTED family member update their status here

Got a response after 8 months. As expected, application refused Reasons they gave were very very very very trivial. Things that could be sorted with a phone call. Application was done on the new form. Good luck to others still waiting or about to submit. I have to say if your dependant is not in a &...

Re: Ireland EU Treaty Right visa - accommodation requiered?

I think you can have a temporary accommodation I.e hostel.
Some people applied from hostel when they came.
No you don't need to have accommodation. You can have hotel or hostel bookings just incasebthey ask where you would be staying.

Re: Non EEA dependent child over 21, British Dad case in Ire

If I'm correct, family descendant and ascendants should be treated as direct family members. Why your child is treated as permitted I don't know. It could be because he's over 21. It's taking six months for them to acknowledge permitted members so if they've acknowledge yours that quick, then there'...

Re: Surrinder Singh or Spouse visa?

I don't know about transfer of residence card from one EU country to another, but I think if she returns to ROI it's another five years again before permanent residence , however spouse is three years to naturalisation (being married to Irish citizen). But I'm not sure, that's about what I know. You...

@kay From what I think you can't remain in the state of your brother is living especially as you still have a long way to go. I know there's an application to extend stay when eu citizen is leaving but you might not be granted the application. Can't you return with him back to his country for him to...

I don't know about the 10 year rule but I know as spouse of Irish citizen you should be able to go to GNIB and collect stamp 4 with both of your passports, proof of address and marriage certificate. But wait on others to advise better

Try you might hear from them. I've not heard anyone who got a response from them since they introduced the EU1A form. The closest I've heard is acknowledgment after six months without temp stamp. Solicitors has written asking for response but nothing from them. I've looked at other options and left ...

Re: Are confirmed tickets a requirement for Visitor Visa ?

As far as I know from my own experience, return ticket is not necessary for the application .

Will be when they are ready to come as immigration at the airport "might" ask them for it.
