Re: Exceptionally complex issue letter for tier 2.

Hi Kazz, Yes, I have been waiting since Feb 2016 and Muzzba has been waiting since Jan 2016 ;( Not sure, if they find any problems, rejecting the application should be easier. Living by that hope. Do keep in touch via this platform, Azbill666 was kind enough to update us all about his successful cas...

Re: Exceptionally complex issue letter for tier 2.

Hi Ranij, Sorry that you finally decided to opt for depart voluntarily. If your visa expired during your application, sometimes they don't return your passport by post. You might have to contact your local enforcement office and inform about your departing details and you will get your passport at t...

Re: Exceptionally complex issue letter for tier 2.

@ Muzzba - no update at all. Decided to pay extra and use the switch service (Post to Premium) but received an email saying that this kind of application is not applicable for the switch service. I then wrote a letter to the caseworker. Received a template response. Its been more than 6 months and I...

Re: Switching from Standard to priority service

Also, following the in-country timelines post there is a user who mentioned about switching to priority from postal option (tier 2 application) I won't mention the user name but you should find it on page 74 of that thread :)

Re: Switching from Standard to priority service

Dear smb2015, Casa and CR001, I am not sure about the NTL option myself, I have been waiting for a Tier 2 change of employment application for 5 months. I wasn't suggesting but asking if NTL option could be used for this kind of application? :) The webpage https://www.gov.uk/faster-reply-visa-applic...

Re: Switching from Standard to priority service

Hi Casa, I haven't used the service as yet. Planning to. Its been almost 5 months since the application was submitted (postal). and received the exceptionally complex letter within 3 weeks of the submission date. Not sure if the switch to the priority service will help in this case but 5 months is a...

Re: Exceptionally complex issue letter for tier 2.

Hi Muzzba,

Yes, the helpline says you should withdraw etc.. But there is a service mentioned by the moderator in the forum: https://www.gov.uk/faster-reply-visa-application

The webpage mentions the settlement applications only but the form has the option for NTL (No time limit) application.

Re: Exceptionally complex issue letter for tier 2.

@Muzzba - thanks. You have been a support. Will update as we get closer :) @Muzzba - any update? There is a service to switch from postal to priority. £400 per person. Wanted to get your thoughts if switching would make a difference? Or will it still end up as more checks needed (exceptionally comp...

Re: Tier 2 shortage visa- premium service date was 4 weeks a

Hi Finley333,

Did you finally hear from Home Office? I might switch to premium service after 5 months of waiting via postal service.
I received the exceptionally complex letter. Thinking if it's worth opting for premium service?

Thanks

Re: Switching from Standard to priority service

Thanks Casa.

In case of Tier 2 change of employer, is NTL (no time limit) option to select for switching from postal to premium service?

Many thanks

Re: Exceptionally complex issue letter for tier 2.

@Muzzba - I think calling the customer number gets us to a general person who has basic access to the database. May be writing to the caseworker actually reminds them of something. However, I read some posts where people have tried writing to the caseworker (no from the employer) with no effect but ...

@Muzzba - Do you know if there is away to speed up things? Can we move to priority and will it make it any better or a complex case remains complex irrespective? Can the employer intervene and write to the caseworker?

Yup, that would be helpful but the other members with similar concerns have not been updating this thread. I am not sure if they have been successful or not. I keep calling UKVI once every two weeks but the response is always the same :(
