Re: Utility Bills - EU1 Form

Adamson, I'll send you a PM with the information shortly today or tomorrow. Got a reply back from INIS and they refused to budge, they still want a second utility bill in both names - guess they'll have to wait for a bank to be opened. They have also asked for Registration of Tenancy in the applica...

Feel free to delete this - I misunderstood the date range on the Visa! turns out it is just the entry period.

C Visa - Join EU Spouse - One Way Ticket

Hello, Just recently got my Azeri Wife's Visa approved hooray! Her Visa is a C Visa and although it states it's to join her EU Spouse on the Visa Stamp, there's a return date on it. It also states XX on number of days. Now obviously we have no intention of letting her return back to Azerbaijan as we...

Re: British Citizen living in Ireland - bring Non-EU Spouse to Ireland.

Update! Got the Visa today on the 28/03/2018 - my wife got a text from VFS Baku and they just simply said come here, your passport and documents have been returned. She went there, they handed back the binder and all my wife then did was open her Passport to see her Visa. Thank you for all the help ...

Re: British Citizen living in Ireland - bring Non-EU Spouse to Ireland.

Hi, Thank you so much for your reply. My querry is, do i need to be there first before applying his visa? Or i can apply and travel at thesame time? Bit confused? Hey Densky, As far as I'm aware it would be best to be in Ireland first before applying for the Visa - that's the route I took, I settle...

Re: British Citizen living in Ireland - bring Non-EU Spouse to Ireland.

Clearly it should be evident from my passport I'm British though? surely they can't make that mistake and treat her as a spouse of an Irish Citizen? I've also mentioned on my invitation letter saying: "The visa should be issued based on Directive 2004/38/EC". I've only supplied what they a...

Re: British Citizen living in Ireland - bring Non-EU Spouse to Ireland.

I'll still be sending off our previous flights, hotel bookings and financial support relating to my spouse though - I'm under the assumption its just best to satisfy their needs and give them every document that is relevant. Either way I've got the work & rental contracts sent off, along with my...

Does it matter how many documents I send? I'm just sending over all supporting documents that have been asked for and there's quite a lot of pages.

Re: British Citizen living in Ireland - bring Non-EU Spouse to Ireland.

Strange, also been given a questionnaire to fill out? I don't think this person is understanding that my spouse can come on a C Visa. I'll update if I get any further correspondence from the officer in the Irish Embassy in Ankara and once finalised and finished, I'll publish a conclusive list of wha...

Re: British Citizen living in Ireland - bring Non-EU Spouse to Ireland.

Ah makes sense, fantastic. I actually got the Ankara embassy to give me the correct information! they were under the assumption I was talking about a partner, not a spouse. They've now mentioned no original passport (they will contact VFS to let them know) although he's kicking up a fuss that I appl...

You made it very clear, thank you shpirtshqipe! Ive sent off the visa application and almost have all my documents ready. I have a question though because there's been a mismatch of information. VFS Global, the people who handle the application state that I can supply no financial information or any...

Re: British Citizen living in Ireland - bring Non-EU Spouse to Ireland.

Confused again - just got off the phone to the immigration officer in Tuam and she has said apply for EU1 Treaty Rights after I get the C Visa?

But apparently I should go for the IRP Card after my Spouse is here in Ireland?.

Just again, getting mixed responses from everyone - been thrown off again.

Re: British Citizen living in Ireland - bring Non-EU Spouse to Ireland.

Brilliant, nice and clear thanks a lot! I'll post any updates/statuses on here so people can see the process if they follow the same path. I'll meet with the local immigration officer in Tuam to see what they say also. Thank god about the Utility Bills! Always panicking when it comes to Visas, done ...
