As an update, I contacted the Hounslow Film Office and was told I can apply for a permit to film, but that I should also inform the council's citizenship team of my plans so I politely did with the request to pay for a permit to bring a camera to my private ceremony. We shall see what they say

I submitted June 15th and went through the app on August 28th with a dual submission on September 24th.

This is not true. I do not own a PhD but was endorsed by Tech City UK for the Tier 1 Exceptional Talent visa. I hold an MSc in a not so relevant field to my endorsement too which is digital marketing.
