Re: Referee contact

If the reference form is only being completed now ( prior to your application) then the referees should include 3 years address history, however, if it has already been done, personally, i would not bother to send a letter to them to this effect. if they really need to contact and cant get through t...

Re: Naturalisation-Genuine & Expert Advice Only- NO Guesses

Yes, I think you got it wrong. I mentioned earlier that I have full intentions to pay it but since the penalty is too high and the company has been dissolved by companies house so it's a long process to reinstate it and settle all accounts. I spoke with the companies house and they mentioned that w...

Re: Referee

I would have thought a soldier would fall under thesame category - i am thinking the term officer is being used here as an umbrella term for everyone in the military. Perhaps you could wait for a commentary from one of the moderators or senior members. I have seen it ; on page 2 ( Member of Her Maj...

Re: Older lives cases unit

I have read cases where this request of photos has resulted in leave to remain granted but no one really knows what goes in the head of the Home Office case owners. I suppose you have no option but to send the photos and pray for the best outcome.
Good luck

Re: British Citizen and feel sad, worried and what not!

kankerot, i am thinking along the same lines as you. There is probably more to the story. Without discrediting the OP, the fear appears to be stem from something other than just what has been disclosed. As previously indicated, if there has been no deception, then there is nothing to worry about. Ha...

Hi, Your indefinite leave to remain probably states on your biometric resident that card that ' refugee settlement'. You continue to be a refugee until you obtain citizenship. Did you have the convention travel document blue? If yes, you can apply for another travel document and they will issue one ...

Re: Return BRP after Citizenship Ceremony within 5 days

I would have thought one envelope would be adequate since you are meant to include a cover letter. In your cover letter, explain it is for your self., wife and child. Again, if you want to spend extra money unnecessarily, you can use three separate envelopes but i would i use just if i was in your p...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro

Nothing to worry if the information you provided is accurate and truthful. Found the information about requesting documents despite using NCS. 'If you a...

It shouldnt have any effect on your current immigration status document unless you use deception to obtain leave to remain which then come to light when they are looking at your naturalisation application. I would adhere to Ohara suggestion if i were you but it is your money and you know best how to...

For JCAP applications, the referees are those from the AN form - you do not need separate referees. Just make sure your referees satisfy the requirement for naturalisation.

As far as I am aware, the form you made reference to is the up to date one. If you are really concern, perhaps wait till mid May before completing your application to ensure you are using the up to date form.

As far as I am aware, the Life in the UK test is valid forever. In terms of the English test, i am not sure but again, all depends on the government of the day and what rules they decide to implement.

Re: Refused British Citizenship due to being in the UK Illeg

I do not think your application would be refuse because of illegal entry. There is a discretion to grant to asylum seekers who made a claim within a reasonable time of entry. This reasonable time I believe is 30 days. There is a high chance your application would be successful.
