I feel that you should focus on the graduate level work... so if you worked at a McDonalds for 3 years and 5 doing graduate IT work, then why would you even consider putting the non-graduate?

I worked in many jobs up until recently so I am going to put the ones that really count.

I just read on the guidance form they have on the workingintheuk website, that what you need to do is take the earnings from the past 9 1/2 months in Dubai, divide them by 9.5 (I guess for your monthly earnings) and multiply it by 12. You have come up with the average of the country that you lived i...

pay for multiple jobS

Hi everyone, quick question, if I work for more than one job (full time during the week) and part-time during the weekends, will they also consider the money I make as a whole or only for my one full time job?

Cheers!

Silly question, but why do you have to refer to them using a colour? Because I am emphasising the dearly beloved overtones of British citizens' perceptions of illegal immigration. And sadly that is not just over there but here (in US) as well!!! Good luck with getting rid of illegals. That same pro...

Thank you for your response. I just used train engineer as a vague term because I saw they were looking for engineers just to get a general idea. 8)

Work Permits and shortage occupation list

Hi everyone, quick question, what does the occupation shortage list have to do with the work permit or obtaining one? So IF I'm a train engineer and this is on the shortage list, will I automatically receive a work permit to be able to find employment (a la HSMP) or will it be easier for a company p...

Currency Conversion??!

Hi everyone, Quick question, from what I've read on this board and a few others, it seems like they try to find ANY reason to NOT accept an applicant and pocket the cash. Now, as far as my wages go, I am pretty close to meeting the £27k and it all depends on the daily value of the $ to £... if the $...
