Further to the post of SimonS, for CAT A you have to have been employed by the same employer for at least 6 months. Best to begin preparing all the paperwork and as soon as the 6th month wage slip is received look to complete the online application form and submit the documents thereafter.

You should be fine to provide bank statements which are printed after the date of the application being submitted as long as they are compliant and for the correct period.

If you were to make a fresh application then you will have to show you meet the requirements all over again. If you change job or become self-employed you will have to meet the relevant requirements.
