Re: Family Route - Sponsor is also my employer + questions I don't know the answer

I assume the shares of the company are held by your partner and so the company you work for would be defined as a "specified type of limited company". Therefore, you will have to apply under Category F or G. If you were to apply under Category A or B the chances are your application will f...

Re: Family Route - Sponsor is also my employer + questions I don't know the answer

Morning Mariana In terms of the online application form, if you do not know the DOB etc. put a generic DOB such 01/01/1900 and in the additional information section explain that you have put in this DOB as you do/your husband do not know his former partner's DOB and are not in contact with her. You ...

Re: Please help me work out annual gross income

Your solicitor is ill informed.
There should be no issue in OT during the same 6 month period as the payslips to be utilised as part of the calculation to determine if the financial requirement is met.

Re: FLR M title register delay

Once the FLR (m) for is completed online a checklist of documents will be generated. I believe mortgage statement and letter from solicitor should suffice. Should the copy of the title register not be available and the document is on the checklist you could explain in the 'additional information' se...

Re: Spouse visa extension - financial and address queries

"My worry is if they don't extend further then this December then I may need to find another job around end of this year. In this case would it normally be fine to show I earned 18.6k or more from more than 1 employer during the 12 months?" Yes it is fine to show that you earned more £18,...

Non-EU Family Member With Settled Status

Afternoon I am hoping someone may be able to assist/advice in respect of the following situation: A non-EU national has obtained Settled Status. She would now like her non-EU spouse to join her in the UK. Is she able to use EEA/EU rules or would she have to apply under UK Immigration Rules (i.e. App...

Re: Anyone applying for UK spouse visa from uae (dubai/abu dhabi)

Hi, Hope there is someone on this forum that will be applying from UAE. Do you know what the current processing times are and when do we pay for the NHS surcharge is it after we submit online application or at the VFS centre? Can we pay for priority when submitting at the centre or is it online? Th...

I think section of Appendix FM 1.7: Financial Requirement may assist you.

I am assuming you are a director and employee of the limited company.

Re: Mistakes made in appendix 2, part 3A financial requirement section

Stressing will not resolve the issue. If you have explained the situation in the sponsor letter then the ECO should be able to make sense of it all. Worst case scenario: the application will be rejected because the financial requirement is not met but should be a straight for appeal based on the inf...

Visa for carer

Scenario:
Disabled man requires carer.
However, for both personal and cultural reasons would like a relative from outside the UK and EEA to come to the UK and care for him.
What routes are available for the potential carer?

All help and guidance will be much appreciated.

Re: Travelling to the UK, what do I bring?

Nothing special other than the usual travel documents are really required.

A photocopy of her TB test just to be on the safe side should suffice and take the original with you when you go to collect from the airport.

Re: Time between returned docs and decision

No correlation between documents being sent back and receiving a decision. It would seem documents are received, scanned, sent back and application reviewed in due course. You could check the following link for an indication as to the processing time of a non-priority visa application: https://www.g...
