My wife flew back to the UK before the 180 days cut off luckily and she made an ILR application which is now successful. Thanks for your inputs - much appreciated.

Re: ILR for PBS Dependant Help

Thanks for the response Zimba.

Hopefully she can fly back before the 28th Jan 2021 to avoid any issues but will there be any exceptions (180 days absence) as it was due to travel restrictions / lockdown rules due to Covid-19?

ILR for PBS Dependant Help

Good Morning Guys, Hope you're all keeping well. I obtained British Citizenship through Tier 2 General route in August 2019. My wife who first entered UK as a Tier 2 PBS Dependant on 25 July 2015 is now eligible for her ILR since July 2020. She went to India on August 1 2020 for her maternity break....

Address Change Query

Hi Guys, I submitted my naturalisation application in the first week of April'19 and still awaiting HO approval. I had moved to a new address in the middle of May'19 but have activated Royal Mail's re-direction services. As its been over 3 months now, I'm worried if it was delayed from HO side or lo...

Re: PBS Dependent Extension Query(Main Applicant ILR Holder)

First Dependent visa issued on 15/07/15, but she entered UK on 25/07/15.
Yes, I'm aware of IHS fees increase and we will try to apply soon - may be premium service.

Thanks

Re: PBS Dependent Extension Query(Main Applicant ILR Holder)

Thanks CR001.

Yes, I have maintained funds for more than 90 days.

Also, she first entered UK on 25/07/15 and will qualify for ILR in July 2020 - so in terms of IHS do we pay until 2020 or until 2021(6 years max Tier 2)?

Can we make the PBS extension application anytime now (she travels to Europe frequently on business) OR should we do it within 3 months of expiry? ...

Re: TIER 2 (GEN/DEP) HELP

Thank you geriatrix, much appreciated.

Am I allowed to make an application at one of the Visa Premium Service Centres for same day decision within the 28 days grace period? Or I'm only allowed to use the postal service for my application?

Thanks in advance.

Tier 2 to Tier 4

Guys,

I was a master's student when I first entered UK, then PSW and now on a tier 2 general visa.

I am planning to study ( another masters or PhD) further so I just wanted to confirm if I can switch into Tier 4 now from Tier 2 Genaral or is there any restrictions?

Thanks in advance.

Re: TIER 2 (GEN/DEP) HELP

If I slip into the 28 days grace period and make a successful application, will I have any complication when applying for ILR in future? Again, If I apply for my Tier 2 before the expiry date and in worst case if it gets rejected will I have a chance/right to appeal and how many days will I have? Th...

Thanks CR001 and Frontier Mole. I do not have time even to do RLMT and switch to a different employer. I am not keen to apply for FLR but generally looking for options to extend my stay beyond May 9. The only option now I got to switch to an employer who have already done RLMT or get some job within...

Re: TIER 2 (GEN/DEP) HELP

Thank you and understood. As a Tier 2 General candidate can I apply for FLR application as I have less than a month's leave and we need to sort out many things? if yes, approximately how long will the process take? Can we(myself and wife(dependent)) work during an FLR application? Thanks in advance....
