As it was abolished in April 2011 for A8 countries, does it mean that people who were late with WRS registration or didn't work for a continuous period of 12 months for 1 ...

Until the 30th April, 2016, that application will be valid. Coz it was the 30th that is came to an end, although people who started work on the 02-04-2011, will not need WRS. noajthan - do you think HO will just ignore the period which wasn't covered by WRS when application is posted to them after April 2016? How to answer this question 9.16?

The rules haven't changed. The WRS was abolished in April 2011. This means if you hadn't registered on WRS scheme, your qualifying period would start in May 2011.
