Re: Advantages of having British passport compare to ILR

Guys, how about British Citizenship? Could it be revoked if I spend 2 or more years outside of the UK please (for example for work in Arabic countries)? Thank you.

Re: Advantages of having British passport compare to ILR

I am fully integrated but my country does not allow dual citizenship. That's why I try to find out the difference between being on ILR or having British Citizenship in terms of benefits, applying for a mortgage, absences from the UK (as I think also to work in Arabic countries).... Thank you.

Re: Help Required -ILR application

Dear CR001,

What is the reason why people cannot post solicitor's details please? You know it is not easy to find a knowledgeable solicitor. So it would be helpful if people could share this information with others.

Thank you.

Re: Would be a continuous residence broken in my case?

I received a curtailment letter today on 20/06. Would my continuous residence stop today or a curtailment letter will not break a long residence please? Would my continuous residence be stopped on 20/06 or 20/08 please? Thank you.

Re: Would be a continuous residence broken in my case?

Guys, I would very much appreciate your help. Do they usually write about gaps in lawful residence in SAR papers or not please? Re: Would be a continuous residence broken in my case?

I have my SAR but cannot understand whether it was broken or not. They do not write in SAR that it was broken? I only see that I applied for a visa and this application was granted 1 year later. I did visa application on time and appeal to first tribunal on time. I did not do on time an application ...

Re: Would be a continuous residence broken in my case?

Dear Vinny and other Members, Could you comment on this situation please? In 2010 my college lost licence and my student visa was refused. I appealed to First-Tier Tribunal and lost the case but they made a recommendation in extra paragraph to allow me to finish the course. I misunderstood that I lo...

I first entered UK on 10/08/2006.
My leave will expire in November 2016.

Entry clearance 10/08/2006
Can I apply 13/07/2016 please?

The question is whether this website's calculation is fine for Home Office or they use different methods of calculating dates?

Check this rule whether it would affect you or not:

"The gap between the end of your current course and your new course must not be more than 28 days."

Re: 10 Years long residence ILR Help

Do we need to take photographs if we use visa premium service please? It is written on website that photographs and fingerprints will be taken at the centre. So I am confused why people are still taking photographs with them? Thank you.
