hello everyone

Good news at last...i hv got my passports today finally with 3 yrs until apr 11. it was such a long wait but at least we got it. hope you guys will get it soon.

Any CIMA HSMP applicants?

Hi, pls I would like to know if any of you know of successfull HSMP applicants who applied with the CIMA UK (Chartered Institue of Management Accountants) Qualification under the new scheme.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Ajani, I read somewhere else in this forum that CIMA was considered as masters and entitled to points. Also, in the HO caseworkers guidance notes of the previous HSMP they had given CIMA as an example for Masters equivalent.

Hi, I had the same problem when I asked CIMA UK to give me a letter stating the course is conducted in english. I think they felt rather insulted by this and refused to give me a letter.I'm not sure what I should do now but feel ridiculous if I have to do IELTS due to this reason

Thanks. So does that mean I can send my certificate only without NARIC verification? In the previous HSMP Scheme I was able to find the caseworkers guidance notes and it clearly stated CIMA as a professional qualification. CIMA and the new HSMP

Does anybody know how many points I can claim for CIMA under the new HSMP rule? Do I have to get this assessed by NARIC or any other organization?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Hi all
FYI, my company got me an Intra-Company Transfer WP. I didnt have to go back home and they applied online so the whole thing took a week.
I will need to go back to apply for entry clearnece I guess.

yes that is correct. I will need to go back for my entry clearence even though I can get my WP approved while I am here.
