Re: UK Settlement Visas for Spouse and Child - More Questions...

Not required but you can add. Will be similar anyway because you will be telling the same love story. It may get repetitive. A very strong single letter would be better. Thanks Londoner007 and Yes I agree.. It seems too much having two letter with the same exact thing. Is it possible to post the le...

Yes. Theres bug which shows payment required as £0. You still get a IHS number which you include with your support docs. At later stage they will ask you to clear the actual sum. Thanks Londoner007.. appreciate your help as always. I wanted to ask if it's necessary to include an introduction/cover ...

Include self envelope addressed to your UK address. The Visa Centre will keep the applicants passport. Thanks alot Londoner 007. Can I pay the application and IHS fee using my UK Debit card even though I'm not the applicant? Also, is it true that for children, you can't pay for IHS until the send m...

Send all originals. Pictures of the whole house is not required. Make sure on your mothers letter she states there will be no overcrowding as its only she and you both who will occupy the property. Hi Londoner007, I wanted to ask, when we send the documents over to Sheffield, we need to include a p...

Fill in as much as you can, and that which is relevant. It will be very similar copy of your wife's appendix 2 bar few bits which will not require to be filled in such as 1.9. The main applicant's Appendix 2 makes sure is thoroughly checked and also make sure the financial figures etc are all accur...

@seagul I am filling in the form for my daughter and came across a problem. In the section "Under 18", it asks if she's staying at a private UK address then it goes on to ask who's she staying with. I wanted to fill in that part but there's no option of "Father" in the drop down ...

Re: UK Settlement Visas for Spouse and Child - More Questions...

You need to state YES if she travelled to the UK at ANY time in the last 10 years prior to date of spouse visa application. The question is not a trick question and is fairly clear. Thanks CR001. Sorry, I made a typo when I typed that message. What I mean was she visited the UK in 2007 (not 2017). ...

It all depend on when would you like to apply. And remember the last payslip shouldn't be older than 28 days from date of application and the duration of last payslips must cover 6 months. I don't see anywhere in the list a copy of your TB test certificate. It's one of the vital things you need to hand in.

6 months payslips with the same salary will work better and reduce the risk of refusal.
Okay got it, thank you so much.

Does my daughter need to take TB test and English test? Or is she exempted from that?

Re: Applying for settlement visa for Wife and Child

Hi All, One more quick question to ask. When I started my job, I started working mid way of the month (so instead of starting on the 1st, it was the 15th) and was paid for 2 weeks. The rest of the months, it was a full month's salary. So as an example below: July - 1200 Aug - 2200 Sept - 2200 Oct- 2...
