I think it will depend on company policy whether they allow you to join on General Visa as this should consider you as new hire (means 1st leaving your company overseas). There are lot of people who receive their visa passport even after joining date. So I think it should be ok.

Have you heard back anything by now?

If your budget permits then try super priority. You should get passport same or next day. And will have enough time for BRP to be delivered to post office.

Its better you delay your application if your CoS will remain valid.

5 days is minimum on priority but no guarantee. If you get you are lucky. If you see other posts where it took around 10 days or more as well.
Your BRP should be available 3-4 days after getting confirmation.

Immigration only looks if you have valid visa. Nothing to do with joining date.

1st thing here is whether you will get your passport by 27th sep is questionable.

Request your employer if you can do it yourself. CoS has an expiry of 3 months.

Why do you need agency. Why don't you simply ask for CoS from your employer and apply yourself. Don't know anything a out agency linking.

Yes I think you can do this and inform new employer about your joining date.

At last moment I took my BRP back as I asked and they said its up to me to submit or not. So will that be any issue. I heard that they can take old BRP at airport immigration as well.

Today I applied (T2General) and vfs took my existing BRP (T2 ICT dependent) as well. Now in case for any reason if my visa refused will I get my existing BRP?
