Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

Hi team, I know the issues with the online checker, and that it has been taken down for that reason. I have a dilemma though. My application said decided on the 28th of November, and was pretty consistent over the application time frame. The application is a family of 5, and the tracking number was ...

Re: Post citizenship/registration

Once they are registered as a British Citizen, if they leave the UK can they continue to maintain their British citizenship? Can they obtain a British Passport at 16 if they are not resident in the UK? The same applies for us I guess as well. Yes. It is not lost simply for living out of the UK. Rem...

Post citizenship/registration

Hi there, This is a quick question, and probably fairly dumb, but I just want to know about post citizenship/registration as a British Citizen with regards to ensuring that it is not 'lost', particularly for my children who have been registered. Once they are registered as a British Citizen, if they...

Biometrics Letters

Hi guys, Just a quick question. We are a family of 5 applying for naturalisation/registration. 4 of us received our biometrics letters on the same day, but my youngest child (3) did not. How long should I wait and see if it just turns up in the post, and if I do need to chase it up, what is the best...

Thanks CR001.

I'll pass that on. Just one further question, does the AN form cover the applications under both those sections?

Thanks again.

Married to naturalised citizen but separated.

Hi there, Just asking for advice for a friend of ours who is looking at finally becoming a British Citizen. She is married to a naturalised citizen, but separated and has been for some time. She is resident in the Uk on ILR and has been for at least 5 years. What is the best pathway for her to apply...

Child born outside UK

Hi there, Another silly question. I have been perusing the guidance and I am confused about which form to use for my daughter who is 6 and lives in the UK but was born in NZ and has ILR in her own right. Does she use the same form as my wife and I, or does she use the same form as my two other child...

Re: Information re: NCS

That is fantastic. So they check all the documents, passports and BRP's and send off photocopies and we keep the originals. They check and send off the application and then all we have to do is wait, and as we have our passports and BRP's, if I need to travel for work then I can. Thanks Noajthan and...

OK. Thanks for that.

No/yes to the document question. Can you clarify what original documents they NCS need to send off?

This forum has been so helpful. Thanks everyone.

Information re: NCS

Hi there, I am a bit confused... Can I use the NCS service for 3 applications for naturalisation, 2 applications for registration and 5 applications for passports at the same appointment? Will this confuse the Home Office if we do this. Do we lose any of our documents or will these all be returned a...

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding SET(LR))

Just an update. Application has been approved. Just received an email from Immigration Consultant to let me know they have all the documentation and BRP's. Letter to them dated 19/08/2016. Good luck to everyone else waiting. All our other postal applications have usually been so quick. This was the ...
