Re: Travel to Schengen, without visa, for EEA-family members

Hi, I was wondering when you are gonna try to do the move? Me and my wife might be going through the same. Our way, through the airport is, the fact that my wife doesn't need a Airport Transfer Visa in Germany (Frankfurt), where she can stay for 24 hours on the International side in the airport. So ...

Relationship History - Met how many times before visa?

Hey everyone, My wife just applied for a short stay visa and we're gonna exercise the directive. I just looked at visa decisions and a lot of them says the following: "A relationship must include a number of face to face meetings (excluding webcam) between the parties. You must satisfy the visa...

Re: EU1 - 2 Payslips vs. 3 months Short Stay Visa C

I read somewhere else that as long as she hand in the application within those 3 months, she will be able to stay there even if she didn't get the acknowledge letter, since she is "in touch with INIS".

Can anyone confirm that? Or will the SWAT team come and knock on our door and deport her?

Get up to speed on free movemnt here: http://ec.europa.eu/justice/citizen/document/files/guide-free-mo-2013_en.pdf I think I've read it, but... Maybe I am just too stupid to read "directive/law"-stuff :P Because I find it difficult to figure out what it means. Also, I don't really underst...

EU1 - 2 Payslips vs. 3 months Short Stay Visa C

Hi everyone, My wife will be applying for the EU1 Residence Card in Ireland while we are there on a Short Stay Visa. As far as I can read, the EU1 application is delayed - a lot! Right now it says 10-12 weeks to get the acknowledge letter. The Short Stay C Visa works for 90 Days, which is approx 12 ...

Short Stay C Visa (EU Treaty) - Proposed dates?

Hi everyone, Okay, so my wife is about to apply for a Short Stay C Visa, as an entry visa for our relocation to Ireland. We are relocating and exercising the EU Treaty Right. But in the online application she has to enter proposed dates (both entry AND leave dates) for the stay AND an address for &q...

Re: Ireland EU Treaty Right visa - accommodation requiered?

This is regarding the Entry Visa, which is required to go to Ireland, before we can even apply for the Residence Card. As far as I can read from the EU Directive 2004/38/EC, Article 6, it says that all we need is a passport, and proof that she is family (marriage certificate). We do not need any oth...

Re: Ireland EU Treaty Right visa - accommodation requiered?

To me, it doesn't make sense if that is a requirement to have an apartment BEFORE we move there, since it is close to impossible to get an apartment without having a job or a contract and PPS number - which requires that we are there, I guess! Also, in the EU Directive 2004/38/EC, it says in Article...

Ireland EU Treaty Right visa - accommodation requiered?

Hi, Me and my wife will be exercising the right of free movement and move to Ireland. There's one detail in the visa process that I am not 100% sure of: Is it required that i, the EU Citizen, have an address in Ireland BEFORE we apply for the visa? Or is it required before she arrives? We will be ar...

In January this year, we applied for a Tourist visa to Greece for 1 week holiday in May. Back the...

Re: EU Treaty Right - Valid marriage?

That would be crazy not to accept it, of course it has to be legalised by the embassy and if needed translated, also if it is registered in your EU country means your country accepted it already. Ireland is usually looking for the paper registered in the foreign spouse country, but if you present b...

Re: "Move to Ireland with non-EEA spouse"-procedure

You can move together or sponsor can go ahead first. Plenty of topics on Surinder Singh in forum, just search. Be aware of delays in issue of Eire entry visas - see topics in forum on this too. Be aware of Brexit too: http://www.immigrationboards.com/eu-referendum-ramifications-of-eu-uk-deal-f55/uk...

Hi everyone, Can anyone tell me what the procedure is, if I want to move to Ireland with my non-EEA spouse? I am a EU citizen. Re: Married before or after moving? help!

Why can't you marry and then take the job? Because sometimes you can't rush a marriage! :) When marrying a person outside of EU, there are some documents and other "law stuff" you have to deal with before you can marry a person. And of course, also I don't want my marriage to happen for &...

It may make it more straightforward if you are already married so that your wife is your direct family member. Not quite sure what you mean with the first question. My fiancé wants the same as...
