Did you received (Certificate of application) when you submitted your application back in March at all and if that has expired and they haven't send your RC you may request for another one. The thing is I need to get my life in order - I have no problem if they reject me I would just move back to Canad (which I prefer), but I am currently in Limbo and this is causing me tension with my employer. Having read the guidelines in more detail later I realized that I should also be covered to the highest extent as per regulations so I subscribed to Freedom Health Insurance and re-sent the insurance documents to Home Office as extra evidence (both to Liverpool and Durham) with recorded delivery.
