Re: ILR application and over 180 days absence question

Hello CR001, thanks for your reply. Are you absolutely certain that there are no absence limits on a spouse visa? I can't find this info on the gov.uk site. If so, then that's great. But surely there must be some kind of limit? They simply wouldn't let you be absent from the UK for such a certain ti...

ILR application and over 180 days absence question

My wife was issued with an entry clearance spouse settlement visa on 13 Sept 2013 but did not enter the UK until 19 Nov 2013. On 11 Feb 2015 both of us travelled to Hon...

Re: FLR(M) waiting times

Hi everyone, I'd sent my wife's application form on 11 June by special delivery. It was signed and collected on 13 June. Payment was collected on 17 June. And that's it. We haven't heard anything back from them. Not one acknowledgement letter or a letter to do the biometrics. Most of you here have r...

Well, I ticked the first period of leave box, and sent off the application form today.

Good luck to us.

Many thanks.

Re: FLR(M) question 2.2 and 2.3

I am sooooo confused now. I've just found this online: You are applying for: "First period of leave to remain (following an initial period of entry clearance as a partner of a settled person, or following an initial period of entry clearance as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner of a settled...

Re: FLR(M) question 2.2 and 2.3

I was also confused by these questions, so I searched online and found this statement: The process for Fiancé(e)/Proposed Civil Partnership Visas is as follows Obtain a Fiancé(e)/Proposed Civil Partnership Visa, which allows initial entry into the UK for the purpose of marriage and settlement. Once ...

Re: Need help! Liability order considered CCJ?

No, I'm posting the form.
So I don't need to mention it at all?
That's good.
Thanks.

Re: Need help! Liability order considered CCJ?

Do you mean attach it with the application form? Should I attach the liability order as well? When you said briefly mention about it in the Additional Information page, which page is this? I can't find it in the form. The only page similar is the Other Information page at Section 8B, which is severa...

That's great, but do we need to mention it at all?
Will this affect the Good Character standing?

Re: Need help! Liability order considered CCJ?

Also, my wife is 6 months pregnant.
Should we note this on the application form on Section 8B: Other Information?

Would it help our application, or better to leave the info out?

Thanks again.

Need help! Liability order considered CCJ?

Hi everyone. My wife is applying for a FLR(M) this week. However we have one problem. Last year when we were out of the country, our council issued us with a summons to court for not paying the council tax. We did not know about this and it escalated to her being issued a liability order after the c...
