Hi my visa expires on 17th June. Applying for ILR on 14th June. My employer asks for valid visa or a confirmation from Home Office stating my application is in progress. I said I can give postal receipt as proof but they wont accept it. How can I get proof or a reference number from home office bef...

Good News! The Home Office kindly emailed me an Acknowledgment notification just this morning. I will forward it to my employer and if they still reject it then I will have to take things further.
