Good News for TOEIC-ETS People

Court of Appeal has dismissed the appeal of home office on the issue of TOEIC so high-court decision in favour of students will be maintained. A long-running programme to deport foreign students from the UK on the basis of hearsay evidence was in ruins today, after the appeal court ruled against the...

Re: Naturalisation application

I think you have NOT to be in immigration control for at least 12 months before applying for BC so your solicitor is right. It is my personal opinion.

Re: Breach of Immigration Law and Naturalisation

We are so thankful to you nice guys for providing us so much assistance; Please let me know 1. When the over stay period starts? Re: Breach of Immigration Law and Naturalisation

Goes against the good character of an applicant. This aspect is likely not confined to only the last '10 years' but will be fully explored by HO particularly given that they are fully aware that he worked full time on a student visa, a clear breach and disregard for the immigration rules. I suppose...

Re: Breach of Immigration Law and Naturalisation

Brief history is my husband from Somalia came to UK as a student for 6 months English course in a private college at London in the start of 2007 and left UK in mid-2008 voluntarily without any removal notice, after exercising first and upper tribunal appeal rights but not high court appeal rights. H...

Re: Breach of Immigration Law and Naturalisation

Thanx for the link. That is why we want to know the date of eligibility as we dont trust telephonic information with home office. In the good character requirement guidance they have used the word "Preceding". Our understanding says the eligibility date should be 2018 (10 yrs after leaving...

Re: Breach of Immigration Law and Naturalisation

Also can you please let me know when he can apply for naturalisation? Will his out of UK stay (2.5 Years started in Mid-2008 to Jan-2011) be counted in breach of law period or disregarded? The 10 year period considered when assessing whether he has met the good character requirement will be counted...

Re: Breach of Immigration Law and Naturalisation

Was there further deception practised during acquisition of the Tier 1 (G) and ILR status? That would push the window of opportunity for the privilege of citizenship even further back. No. All the applications have no deception at all. Even in initial application it was declared that visa condition...

He has noticed fee has not been deducted yet. He has reported the card lost. Should he now follow the withdraw option given online @ www.gov.uk? or application would be sent back as invalid and it will not affect adversely?

Breach of Immigration Law and Naturalisation

I want to ask if there is any effect of breach of immigration law of past on the current naturalisation application. A person broke his immigration condition of student visa in 2008 and left UK voluntarily after exercising first and upper tribunal appeal rights. After two years [(under 320 (7B)] he ...

Re: Working while on Student Visa

I know it says in the guidance but which section the AN form asks you about it to provide the NI history in it? Anyhow, if you want to provide it it is upto you, none can stop you. Why not you phone NCS they will let you know if you need to bring that in NCS apptt.

I know 2 persons personally who applied on 13th Jun and they have got no money left their account yet as well. I think HO is taking a bit long to get it due to high volume of applications. Which NCS you have gone thru?

Re: Working while on Student Visa

If you are applying through NCS, they will NOT ask you about these evidences. They need only your passports covering 5 years period with proof of ILR since last 12 months...and that is it they are advised by the Home Office to take evidences from you. If you are arranging your payslips, p60 etc... i...

Re: Working while on Student Visa

Th AN Form (01/2016) does not ask you to provide your NI contributions. I think this applies to those who claim their residence without passports evidences and being in the UK to qualify for naturalisation. If you see the employment history page of the form it only asks you start date, finish date, ...

I think being director or self-employed is the same. A student can not be self employed, if it is, it is breach of visa conditions. Lets see what the experts say regrading it.

Now I have realized through someone that I did wrong. There I was supposed to give my non-British current passport number. I ...
