Re: British Citizenship - is UK NARIC certificate a MUST

I'd say going for the SELT test is likely to be a faster option. If you get a test date soon enough, that is.

Cheers.

Citizenship ceremony happening later - current pp renewal

Hello, I am hoping some learned members might be able to help me here. We recently got our citizenship app approved, and have booked ceremony with the local authority. The thing is, they seem to be quite booked out and the date we got is about 4 weeks out. It so happens that the current Indian passp...

Re: text from HM

If that helps, it probably means you will receive the British passport of your MN1 applicant - who is not required to attend a citizenship ceremony - in a day or two delivered to your home.

Re: May '16 naturalisation application timelines

Specific question - My son got his Passport yesterday (MN1 applicant), but not his registration certificate. What do I do with his BRP? 1. Do I send it back to HO for safe disposal without waiting for the Reg certificate? 2. Do I wait till the arrival of Reg. Certificate and only then send i? I do ...

Re: May '16 naturalisation application timelines

Yep..must be the case.. Interestingly (and well, thankfully), I received a text message from HM Passport Office that says things to the effect of 'your new passport should arrive within a few working days. We will send your supporting docs separately'. I take it as some kind of processing happening...

Re: May '16 naturalisation application timelines

Missed this reply somehow. That's right Noetic! I tend to think about it quite a lot these days. I did some study on the cases in April and May. For the benefit of others, I post it here. The average time in calendar days, between biometric submission and receipt of letter (not approval date) is: Ap...

Re: May '16 naturalisation application timelines

No, Casa, I didn't think of it as a timeline thread. I am aware of the timeline thread that already exists for May '16.

I am looking for (any) thoughts on the query posed from other members.

Thanks!

May '16 naturalisation application timelines

Dear Senior members, other contributors, We made our naturalisation application in May last week for my family and me (AN + MN1), and we are eagerly looking forward to receiving approval letters (biometric letters / enrollment have all been done). Re: Biometeic enrolment letter not areived for one applicant

Thanks for your response, Casa. Much appreciated!

I was looking for a HO contact number to speak to an agent/advisor on this, but there doesn't seem to be any. Is there one by any chance?

Thanks.

Re: Biometeic enrolment letter not areived for one applicant

Expert users, Others -

Please can you advise on how I may follow-up to get some response on this?

I have had no response from the HO ids I've written to, yet (maybe they require more time and I'm being anxious - nonetheless!)

Thanks.

(Pls. excuse the typos in the subject!!)

Biometeic enrolment letter not areived for one applicant

Hello forum users and experts, We recently ( last week of May) applied for naturalisation, and whilst my spouse and I got our biometric enrolment letters this Monday ( in around 2.5 weeks), we have yet to receive our son's biometric enrolment letter. Our applications are respectively AN and MN1. The...
