Re: Can you withdraw EEA PR application?

Sorry, I got confused in all the abbreviations. To clarify: If you were a student you needed CSI (EHIC etc) or to invoke the transitional arrangement. Have invoked transitional arrangement as was in the UK, working with a valid yellow card since 2008. WRS is only for A8 nationals, are you A8 or A2? ...

Re: Can you withdraw EEA PR application?

noajthan responded to her that "1) Your sponsor needs to have been exercising treaty rights continuously unless or until he had acquired PR. Otherwise he may have no current basis to reside/work in UK." Relax. Don't assume all EU cases are the same. And despite the generally laissez faire...

Re: Can you withdraw EEA PR application?

They cannot cancel your right of residence , if you are currently working and you are not a threat , etc. Thanks, vinny. I am referring to this post: http://www.immigrationboards.com/eea-route-applications/eea-pr-refusal-advice-t210157.html Not only did they reject her application but also said her...

Can you withdraw EEA PR application?

I am getting cold feet. I sent my application a few days ago with as much documentation as possible. I've been living and working here legally for about 8 years and always planned to apply for naturalisation just never could afford it so far. Now I thought I'd at least get the PR out of the way so I...

Re: CSI for students before 20 June 2011

I just received my PR on Saturday. I didn't have CSI for my 5 years a student but explained very clearly in my cover letter that I had a yellow registration certificate from when I was a student in 2009. Clearly it worked as I got my PR. So if you had a yellow RC from before 2011 yes, you are exemp...

Re: EEA PR No CSI

State that yellow card issued in/before 2011 invokes the transitional arrangement as an alternative to demonstrating you had CSI as a student. Re: EEA Permanent Residence for EEA National and no CSI

HI,

How did she fill out the application form in the end?

Have you had a response?

I am in a slightly similar situation and looking for advice.

Thanks

EEA PR No CSI

Hi, hopefully you can assist with some advice. I came to the UK and started my 3yr degree in Sep 2008. Received the yellow card registration certificate as Romanian citizen studying in the UK and started work in Nov 2008. Back then, no CSI was required when applying for the yellow card, as the below...
