Re: Question: Bringing wife to UK under Tier 2 General VISA

Well exactly, the property will be overcrowded as only a 1 bedroom flat, which should only accommodate 3 adults. Is there a high chance of VISa being rejected? one bedroom will be overcrowded if you, your wife, your uncle and your aunt were to be living there. By your aunt, I assume you mean your u...

Re: Tier 2 dependent visa rejected against319c immigration r

I think the reasons are straight forward. if indeed you have not made contact with your wife before your arranged wedding in January, it will be difficult to convince the case worker that your relationship is genuine. While traditionally arranged marriages are common in some parts of the world, your...

Re: Can I employ my Long Distance Partner?

While the position you are creating for her might be genuine, you might need to conduct Residents Market Labour Test to show that nobody can do the job in the UK and EU. What qualifications or experience does your partner have to make her the best person for the role? +1 for that. RLMT is must and ...

Re: Can I employ my Long Distance Partner?

Your long distance partner being an American can travel to the UK for three months without a visa. So I believe she can visit you. While the position you are creating for her might be genuine, you might need to conduct Residents Market Labour Test to show that nobody can do the job in the UK and EU....

Re: Tier 2 (general) for child born in UK - medical treatmen

My child was born in the UK and we would like to travel to South Africa and apply for a Tier 2 dependent visa from there for her. I have a Tier 2 general visa, and all have South African passports only. Some of the questions on the online form (seems like the form needs to be done online) is not cl...

Re: Tier 2 sponsor license Suspended- can FLR be applied?

So can I apply for FLR using any of the above excuse. If not what are any other ways to remain in UK (apart from getting a tier 2 general sponsor) No, not really. Your child is small enough to adapt to another country and also, your child is not British. Many people with no leave to remain own prop...

I don't know if a transit visa is required. You can get information from Irish immigration website. As per entry stamp, flight from Ireland (I guess Dublin) to London is an international flight and as such his passport will still be stamped in London. If your question is referring to Northern Irela...

Re: Exceptionally complex issue letter from HO

There's obviously something they need to verify, and that's why your application has been delayed. It is not an automatic refusal. They just need to verify certain information to help with their decision. 2It is not compulsory that you apply for your child along with your application. Usually UKVI ...

Re: Leaving the TIER 2 employer after ILR

Like CR001 said, there's no rule saying that you must stay with your sponsor for certain period of time after ILR. You must still give and serve your notice period based on your contract. And from a personal point of view, I'd advise you not burn bridge with your employer. It's a small world, you'll...

Irrespective of the new rule, there is an experienced salary required for your role. Check the latest Soc code list and confirm the salary requirement for your job. That is what will be used to assess your application. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-j-codes-...

Ideally your start date should be a day after your current visa expires. But it works only if you are apply within three months to the expiry date. In your case, you can use a start date within 3 months from the time you want to apply. For example, if you want to submit your application on 2nd April...

How long have you been on tier 2? Then you need to clarify what you meant by your job is only for 6 months. If the company is only hiring you for 6months and the review your employment before offering you another contract, then I don't think they should issue you a 4year Cos. Starts date and end dat...

If you want to apply in October, you use a start date of that is few days before your current visa expires, if your current visa expires say 30th November, you can have a start date up to 1 December and end date of 30 November 2019. That will be 2years, so you will. Only pay IHS for 2 years. And you...

Good to know that your HR know what to do and they have done the right time and in a timely manner. 1. You can only spend a max of 6year on tier 2. Therefore, the if you apply in May, you will be looking at May 2020 for the expiry date. Start date could be within three months. Check the start date on your first tier 2 visa and make sure that the new end date is not more than 6 years. 2. You can ap...
