the fuss is about the retrospective implementation of the rules, which has disturbed some lives and jeopardised some future plans..also its not only about Indian immigrants. UK is not the end of the world, but for example when one has spent close to 4 years as a legal immigrant in anticipation of ge...

Hi, A freind of mine is applying for HSMP from outside the UK. Is it possible that his decision letter/dcouments can be posted at my UK address ? The guideline says that the doc will be posted to the address given on the front of the application. is this the address on personal details section or pa...

However, they can’t do anything about it. The reason most people affected by this rule change are from...

I claimed 25 points for more than 5 years work experience, out of which 4 years was in the UK with a well known corporate, still they refused(in august) it saying the ref letters are not detailed enough for them to judge my experience. I a...

Hi,
The image on the blog does not have correct date on it, it will be nice if you can fix that.

Another suggestion :
If you have a video footage than its a good idea to post it in youtube.com, that could be a good way of spreading awareness and getting more support.

Not sure about any point system for ILR but there is strong possibility that there will be a prerequisite of English language proficiency. Please refer to following links http://immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=7201&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=1480 and http://www.homeoffice.gov.u...

Hi Since you have a valid HSMP visa till 2009, it is not a good idea to switch to WP NOW. If you look at the proposed point based Tier system, current HSMP will map to Tier 1 which is evident from the latest HSMP rule changes and Tier 1 will be the easiest way leading to settlement. Current WP schem...
