i know of a friend whose visa was rejected (appeal was won with a help of a solicitor) because of mismatch of pay figures (difference of pence). I would strongly recommend you to get new payslips with figures matching to your credits in bank stmts. Ask your accountant to do this for you. Thats what ...

Could anyone else with the 2nd T1(g) extention confirm if they get a 2 or 3 yr visa? I would imagine its 2 years. But I am happy to be proved wrong.

During my T1(G) extension last May, I had applied in person for a PEO appointment in Croydon 3 weeks before my visa expiry. I was granted an extension for 2 years from the day my visa expired. So in my case the visa start date was not the application date.

Update: My wife got the visa.

As sushdmehta mentioned, the visa issuing office should be Mumbai and at the end of the form filling process you can chose where you would want to submit the application. In my case, Pune.

You should not have any problem at the airport. You have paid you fine and you have learnt your lesson. This cannot be held against you for all your life. Have a nice vacation. Enjoy!

Get a accountant to sort this out for you. Accountants tailor the salary and dividends such that you pay less tax. Also when it come to Tier1 ext, it necessary to show an accountants letter for all your earnings.

Just checking if there is anything that I have missed. Also, can her partner take her passport of the country to her home country (while she is stil...

Hi raghav1982,

As suggested, you need to do a bit of more reading.

Age points should be the same as your initial application.
Tier1 is stopped. Tier1 ext continues as usual.
There is nothing called as an upliftment ratio anymore.

Lucapooka is correct. There is nothing called as a upliftment ration any more. Your earnings should be converted to UK pounds and thats it.
