Entry to UK via Married to EEA and/or Children in UK School Without Visa

Long story short, can I leave UK and get back in if Home Office hasn't returned my Permanent Residency card yet (have copy of the application and documentation) as a US citizen, married to an EEA passport holder (6+ yrs) and we have 2 small children in school who ARE British citizens.

EEA(PR) information on Fingerprints?

In question 10 of the EEA(PR) application it asks for details as to when I last provided finger prints as part of my previous EEA residence card. What do you do if you don't remember where you provided it (I know it was at a post office but not sure which one) and I don't know the exact date (I can ...

Thanks mulderpf, however I just found out from the solicitors I've hired that there is a grace period of 10 days in which you can stay in country and apply for an extension. He said it is not something everyone knows about but it is the law.

Tier 1 Extension - Grace period?

I have a Tier 1 Visa expiring on November 4th, and my maintenance funds proof will be at 90 days on November 5th. Am I able to apply for my extension even though my visa will technically be expired if I apply on the 5th? Is there a grace period?

Thank you!

HSMP Review Contact?

I submitted my letter to request a review, but how do I verify that they received it? What number do I call? Will they send an email confirmation if you asked for one in the letter?

HSMP - Long Wait, Quick Evaluation

DYING to know the outcome of my HSMP application which they just love to drag out.... It was decided yesterday but I can not findout until atleast 4 days after. So in general it seems that they decided on my application pretty quickly... Is that a good sign or bad sign from anybodies past or know ex...

Thanks. I am not trying to be sneaky and do anything illegal, but when they change the rules which hinder people who have already started the process it makes things even harder. The fact I have a job offer, but have to wait 3 months before even submitting for a working visa will probably result in ...

HSMP Approved, can I work?

With the recent changes to EC process, I am curious that if I have an approved HSMP letter, am I able to go to London to work before applying for an EC? I have a job offer, but now with the new 2800gbp maintenance rule I don't know if I can take the job since I have to wait 3 months until I can appl...

HSMP + Job Offer, EC Funds?

I'm so confused....

If I just got my HSMP approval letter, and I have a job offer, do I still have to show 3 months worth of 2800gbp savings?
If so this is crazy, because my job offer won't sit around to wait for another 3 months just to apply for EC, and then i have to wait for that too.

OK thanks! That's what I thought but I wanted to verify that if I go to the UK with a HSMP approval to find a job, I would still have to come back to get the EC.

Entry Clearance - Can I Apply within the UK

If I have my HSMP visa, and come to the UK on a visit to get a job, can I apply for the EC from the UK? or do I have to go back to my original coutry to apply and wait for approval?

Enter the UK for interview?

I am going to London for an interview but still awaiting approval of my HSMP. Am I allowed to go to London for an interview when they ask for the purpose of my visit? I normally would just say for a personal visit, but it's a really short trip (1 night) for a vacation or visit.

And what about other countries? And how do they determine this? Do they take you deposits and withdrawls each month to see what is left over? And I've heard having an job offer letter might require a different amount to be in your account.

Entry Clearance Savings?

I can not seem to find specifics on proving my savings with my entry clearance. I have seen that I need to prove 3 months of savings at a minimum of 2800 gbp, however I am unsure as to how this is figured out. Do they look at your bank statement and see 2800gbp(or more) being deposited each month as...

Have no idea why they canceled. Something came up.

I know I can not transfer the WP, I just wasn't sure if it would make a difference to another company that I have with this other company.

WP Transfer without starting?

So I just spent the past 10 months working with a london company to get my Work Permit (which I did get), and was ready to start my move when they pulled the carpet out from under me. My question is, is the WP totally dead and I need to start from scratch with another company? or is it useful in any...
