Apostrophe - disallowed character?

Dear all, I am posting again, as my previous post ended up for some reasons in the wrong section of the forum. I have received a biometric enrolment letter, but I've noticed that part of my surname has been written not precisely. I give you an example: instead of being D'Elia (with an apostrophe) th...

Slightly wrong surname on biometric enrolment letter

Dear all, I have received a biometric enrolment letter, but I've noticed that part of my surname has been written not precisely, such as it could be treated as a middle name. I give you an example: instead of being D'Elia (with an apostrophe) they have written both D Elia or D. Elia (as if "D&q...

Re: EEA PR - 2 years absence from the UK

What would happen if for instance one is abroad within the 2-years but works on a continuative basis for a UK-based company (hence coming back to the UK every now and then for meetings etc.)?

Re: EEA PR - 2 years absence from the UK

Thank you.

So, I assume it would be a longer time and perhaps a specific context (a job or else).

EEA PR - 2 years absence from the UK

Hello everyone

Could someone please clarify what it is meant by the maximum two years' absence from the UK after having received PR? Is it mere physical absence (so that it would be enough to come back to the UK every now and then for some short periods)?

Thanks a lot for any response

Re: EEA Home Office Reference Number

Thanks, that is very useful.

In section 2.4 I included the code UKFxxxxxxx that is on the top right of the white sticker containing my picture and my personal data (blue card).

EEA Home Office Reference Number

Dear all, thanks also to the help that I found in this forum I obtained a permanent residence card for EEA citizens (the blue card). At the moment I am trying to apply for naturalisation, but I cannot find what is my HO reference number. The letter they sent me by the Home Office along with the PR c...

Re: Use of previous form

Thank you. This website linked below suggests for instance to use the 06/2014 version, compiling only sections 1,7,8,9,10,11,12 if one is a EEA national without other family members: https://www.freemovement.org.uk/how-to-make-a-permanent-residence-application/ I may have a deeper look and see how t...

Use of previous form

Clearly you should try to provide as much documentary evidence as possible so you leave the HO no doubt that you were actually exercising treaty rights continuously for the qualifying period. Is this the form you are looking at? https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12881670/eea3_simple_v2.pdf. Hello...
