Re: When to apply for BC

Thanks. Luckily for me, the date on the letter matches the date on the BRP. Then what you mentioned in your first post does not match. my question was between the date on the letter and the date I received the BRP in post. I didn't realise there was a date displayed on the BRP itself. Thanks.

Re: When to apply for BC

Hello,
I actually never noticed the Date on the BRP itself.
Thanks for pointing that out for me.

When to apply for BC

Hello,
I received my ILR BRP in the post in January 2019 but the accompanying letters were all dated November 2018.
So my question, Can I apply in November 2019 or do I need to wait until January 2020 to submit my application.

Thank you for your advice and suggestions

Re: LITUK pass certificate not returned after ILR granted

I submitted in October, did my Bio-metric reg. around the middle of November and even though I received the BRP in January, the accompanying letter was dated in December

LITUK pass certificate not returned after ILR granted

Hi All, My ILR was recently approved and I just received my original documents back from the Home Office. One thing I noticed is they didn't return my original LITUK (Life in the UK) pass certificate. So my question: is it normal for them to hold onto this document or shall I send a message to them ...

Most common reasons for ILR refusals

Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone knew or could list from their experience what the most common reasons for ILR refusal are.
Not sure if this has already been covered in another thread but would be nice if someone could add to this topic.

Thank you

2 holiday days missing from former employer absence letter

Hello, I got a letter from my previous employer detailing and confirming my absences from the UK while working with them. The problem here is they omitted a weekend holiday (2 days only) I made to France in their letter. Do you think this will be a problem if I submit the letter as it is with my ILR...

2 Requirements in 1 letter

Hello, In the same letter which my Employer states I'm needed for the foreseeable future etc, my employer has also confirmed my abscesses from the UK while employed by them. My question is, does it matter that they have done all of this in 1 letter rather than 2 (i.e. 1 for employment + 1 for absenc...

P60 question for ilr

Hi all, I am about applying for my ilr and I have a question. I’ve had tier 2 general visa for 5 years now. 4 years with a previous employer and 1 year with my current employer. While I was with my previous employer, I took on a 2nd side job for about 10 months (it was a similar job title so I didn’...

Re: Details of time spent outside the UK while with former employer

Hello, Thanks very much for your reply. All of the trips were for 1 week or less (never exceeded 7 days). Is there a template document or form the home office expects to hold this information or we need to draft the letter ourselves? Does anyone have an idea what should be contained in the letter? T...

Re: Online Tier 2 and supporting documents

What would be the point of submitting a print out if you have already submitted online? If defeats the entire purpose of submitting online if they required you to send the print out.

I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Re: RCOS JULY 2016

Hi
It takes 5 days after the allocation meeting for the CoS to be sent out. You should be getting the CoS by next week
