Re: JCAP and its issues - passport can't be issued

OK that sounds positive! Probably not much point chasing the council anymore then as it sounds like they have done their part. Once our application got to that stage, then it took a couple of days for the notification to 'push' through from UKVI to the Passport Office computer system. Give it a coup...

Re: JCAP and its issues - passport can't be issued

I posted about this, in the 2016 forum. Here is the solution that solved it for us so assuming things have not changed then give it a try: Send email to citizenship.support@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk - Please note that we confirmed first that the local authority had indeed sent the update to UKVI about o...

Re: JCAP Process Passport Delay After Ceremony

Hi, does anyone out there have any experience of their JCAP application running into problems? We (wife and I) had a successful naturalisation application, and the HMPO is supposed to dispatch passport within 20 working days. It never turned up and when we tracked the application the passport offic...

Re: Applying Naturalization and Passport at same time

This was posted earlier and I am not able to quote because the post is too old but it is potentially really useful information. I am in this situation and have been advised by UKVI that they are getting lots of calls about it. I have a JCAP application in progress and have been waiting 5 weeks for ...

Re: JCAP and its issues - passport can't be issued

I think yours has taken definitely the longest time I have seen, It used to take long when the scheme was first rolled out but it has now been embedded and shouldnt take that long. Now i feel like a very impatient person contacting UKVI about mine which i attended my ceremony only on 20th. Yours de...

Re: JCAP and its issues - passport can't be issued

I sent an email this morning to UKVI and also requested the examiner ring UKVI for confirmation. How long ago did you attend your ceremony? We attended the ceremony on 16th June 2016, so it has been almost 6 weeks waiting. The passport office confirmed their service target is 'within 20 working day...

Nope, am still trying to sort it out. I have logged investigations with both UKVI and with HMPO but no response yet.

Re: JCAP and its issues - passport can't be issued

I am in this exact situation too, my local authority insist that they sent notification on same day as ceremony. They even contacted UKVI for me to double check they have the correct status (and they did). Passport office is still insisting that the status says we did not yet attend ceremony. I woul...
