Hi Did your problem get resolved? I am having the same issue when I apply online for my Tier 2 extension. The number I use for the sponsor license is the same I used last time during my previous extension but I get the error saying that the license number is not found. Whom did you contact and what ...

Re: BRP ISSUES? Home office backlog

I have been in the same situation as you. I can't understand why you would go back just for medications? Ask someone back home to ship it to you if it's just a small quantity for personal use, it should be ok. Also, getting it in the UK shouldn't be so hard if you meet a GP.

Re: Delay in collecting BRP card

Hi I have a tier-2-general visa, which my organisation was sponsoring. When they checked up with legal team, they got a response that I can continue to work as the delay in BRP is acknowledged by home office. Thanks for your prompt responses. It's giving me hope! What sort of acknowledgement did yo...

Re: Delay in collecting BRP card

Hi I was supposed to get my BRP on April 10, this year and I got it on May 15. I have filled on line form at uk.gov but they did not give any specific reason for the delay. I would recommend collecting the post office number and calling them on every other days. While searching on line I found numb...

Re: BRP collection nightmare

Its pointless reviving old threads and asking inactive members who have not posted for months; 9 months in this case! If you have a question suggest open a topic and ask your question. Hi noajthan, You probably won't understand the stress I'm going through because I'm in the same situation as the O...

Re: BRP collection nightmare

I arrived in the UK as a Tier 2 (General) Migrant with my 30 day vignette valid from 28 Aug. I was scheduled to collect my Overseas BRP from the Post Office. Till date, the BRP has not arrived at the designated Post Office and my vignette has also now expired. I am not able to schedule any business...

Re: Delay in collecting BRP card

I am a Canadian teacher that just moved to UK on Dec 29th, 2015 to teach with a letter saying my Tier 5 application has been successful and I should be able to collect my BRP card as of Jan 6th, 2016 at this post office. I went to collect my BRP card but they told me it hasn't arrived yet. I went b...

Re: Biometric Residence Permit (BRP)not available for collec

I had a long discussion with my sponsor and Indian embassy in London. They said that I can wait upto 28 days for BRP. But within this period, I am not eligible to work. What does the Indian Embassy have to do with your BRP or visa?? I am getting very stressed out about this. My BRP has still not co...

Re: Biometric Residence Permit (BRP)not available for collec

So your employment will lapse and you have to stop working now? Do you have any idea what we must do to get the BRP? There is no number to call even. I heard that your employer can conduct a Right to Work check with the Home Office and they can confirm that you can work. Let me know if you get any a...

Re: Biometric Residence Permit (BRP)not available for collec

My sponsor called them. They told that there is a grace period of 28 days. But they told it over phone and we don't have any written document or official statement yet. How can I trust the words over phone? Same problem for me too. He said we can stay after visa expires but there is no written comm...

Thanks.
Now must I inform home office that my start date will be delayed?
On my CoS, start date is mentioned as August 1st but my HR is not allowing me to join without the BRP.
Please advise ASAP.
Thanks

Re: PBS TIER 2 GENERAL VISA,DEPENDANT BRP NOT AVAILABLE

Hi Abeer can you please let me know what happened finally to your BRP?
I seem to be in the same situation. Except that I am the main applicant and I have not got my BRP. Strangely my wife got her BRP on a dependent visa.

Biometric Residence Permit (BRP)not available for collection

Hi, I got entry clearance on a Tier 2 general visa valid from July 21, 2016. I entered the UK with my spouse (dependent) on the 27th July and the BRP was supposed to be available for collection from the 28th July. When I went to collect it from the Post Office, my spouse's BRP was available but mine...
