They might have sent out a small number of invites, based on a couple of people on here reporting that they got their invites already. But the bulk of the invites are still to be sent out (based on the wording of their response - "...you will be scheduled to attend a Citizenship Ceremony...&qu...
Hi there, Just thought i'd let you guys know that I got an e-mail today from INIS and they told me that April's Ceremony is now fully subscribed to. Ye scaremonger! I made my fee payment a month ago and have been fairly confident that I will be invited to an April ceremony. However, your ...

@madmedman They have already rolled out the approval letters. Myself and another person on the forum already got it. No need to worry, you will definitely get it as you already sent the 950 euro. Few of my friends are also waiting. So, don't worry much. Thanks, iCloud Thanks iCloud. Impatiently wai...
Hey guys. So I am resident in Ireland. Recently approved for naturalisation. Awaiting ceremony invitation letter. Today I got an email from the Home office immigration enforcement team, requiring me to either leave the uk or apply for an extension of visitor visa. Surprised since I am not in the UK....
Still haven't received the invitation. Called citizenship and was told they haven't started sending invitations yet. Surely this thread suggests otherwise.
Wasn't as anxious about the approval. Sent gnib, fees, etc five weeks ago now.
I received my approval letter on monday which was dated 9th March. On the letter it said to get the payment and photos back within 10 days to be able to attend the 21st April ceremony. So I assume next week invitations will be sent out. I just posted mine off yesterday but with st patricks day tomo...
Hi again. At the risk of sounding neurotic, anyone received ceremony invitation yet? Getting closer to 4-5 weeks left for the big day and no invite yet from citizenship department.
This sounds very strange. If you have not sent an original passport with your application, then most likely you applied using an outdated form. In that case, surely citizenship department would have written to you or your solicitor? Since August 2016, A new version of the application form was introd...
Hi. Thanks for replying. That makes perfect sense. It just struck me a little odd that in 5 five weeks they only returned her current passport whereas in my case, all four of my passports were returned within two weeks of applying. She doesn't have a complicated travel history either. Just travelled...
Hi guys. My wife sent her naturalisation application late January. Today she received her acknowledgment letter along but only her current passport was returned. Her expired passport that contained most of the stamps was kept. They mentioned in the letter that it would be returned in due course. Has...
Hi. They sent the letters back within a few days. All I did was write to them mentioning my details and the tracking number of the missed letter that was on the anpost card.
I couldn't get a contact number for them and they never replied to my email. But the letter worked.
Hey there. If you search through my previous posts, I had the exact same problem although the correspondence was from another section of the INIS. I ended up writing to them and asked them to send the letter to me again. They responded very promptly. Was it possibly a citizenship acknowledgment lett...
Thanks. Makes me feel at ease now. Knew deep down that this was an approval but just couldn't believe it would arrive so soon. Now waiting for the ceremony. What a day that's going to be.
Hey, apologies for asking here. Just making sure that its an approval that I have received and not a preliminary letter. My letter starts with "This letter does not constitute a grant of a certificate of naturalisation or permission to enter or remain in the state"? Then goes on to say tha...

Just to update you guys. Today I received the letter indicating "The minister proposes to grant your application subject to the successful completion of the application process" and asking me to pay the fee and send my Garda card with photos. I guess this is it. Its a bit unusual that they...
Surprised they returned my original documents within two days. I just realised that I made a bit of a blunder. I mentioned in my letter that I returned to a different airport in my home country. Ten years sure can have an impact on ones memory. Do you guys suggest I write back at them to mention and...
Hello there guys. Need a bit of input and advice. So I sent my application 5 months ago. A week ago was told my application is at an advanced stage of processing. I thought great, I am now only waiting a few weeks at most. Found the envelope at my door and alarm bells started ringing. They have aske...
