If i were you, I would submit a fresh application and address the deficiencies they pointed out. If im not mistaken, appeals process can be time consuming.

So citizenship replied that they will return the passport fairly quickly. I am guessing they will return it with acknowledgment letter.

Did you not submit bank statements? My guess is that they refused it on that basis. But i will let others make suggestions where to go from here.

I applied at exactly 3 years of being a resident here in Ireland, and got my approval letter with no complications or whatsoever. So i dont think there will be a problem with that.
