Re: Family life as a parent application

You are still short of 2 years. If you have any future in UK you need to get regularised. Suggest go home, get married there; shoot for spouse visa if gf/partner can meet requirements (& sort out divorce). Alternately look at relocating to gf's country under EU/SS rules. This does not appear to...

Re: Flr(FP); Flr(O) & DLR - TIMELINES ONLY

Application type (FLR(FP); on the basis of a partner with whom I've been with for 15 months and a British citizen child. Application was submitted prior to the expiry of a visa granted on the basis of being the partner of an ex-wife. The leave was curtailed following breakdown of the marriage and wa...

Re: FLR(FP) problem - new family

Obie, would it be right to assume that applications submitted before 1st December 2016 when in-country appeal will be stopped would be given in-country right of appeal

Re: FLR(FP) problem - new family

Mine was curtailed without right of appeal and I was given 2.5 months to either reapply or leave the country. I reapplied a few days before the leave expired (that's before the end of the 2.5 months given by the Home Office. Reapply and because of the court order and your new relationship you should...

Re: FLR (fp) as parent of British Child

Hi vinny, if the Home Office were to refuse an FLR (FP) application that involves a British child but gives right to appeal, am I correct in saying that the appeal is likely to be allowed because of established case laws - ZH (Tanzania)?

No in-country appeal rights from 01-12-16

In light of the introduction of section 63 of the Immigration Act 2016 which is being brought into force from 1 December 2016 by the Immigration Act 2016 (Commencement No. 2 and Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2016 (SI 2016/1037SI 2016/1037) ending in-country right of appeal and gives the Home ...

Is English Language Test required?

I will soon be applying for Leave to remain FLR (FP) as the parent of a British child under the 10 year route to settlement. I know that English language test is required for the 5 year route. Do anyone know if it's required for the 10 year route?

Thanks.

Re: FLR(FP) application query

HO doesn't take emotions into account. They simply follow the immigration rules. Your wife had/has an obligation to inform HO the as soon as the relationship breaks down and that she is no longer your sponsor. Did she do this? I am not 100% certain she did, however my instinct tells me that she did.

Re: FLR(FP) application query

In addition to Obie's advice, are you aware that your spouse visa became invalid as soon as your relationship with your British spouse (your sponsor) was no longer subsisting? As a foreign national, in order to marry in the UK (once you are divorced) you can only register your intent to marry at a ...

FLR(FP) application query

I would be very grateful if someone could assist in answering these questions for me. I had applied for a FLR(M) 5-year visa as a spouse of a British citizen in June 2014 which is valid until December 2016. We separated in August 2015 and soon after I started a new relationship with a British citize...
