If baby is born outside the UK, then baby may apply for a dependant entry clearance, not FLR. Thanks Vinny. You are right, ofcourse it has to be Entry Clearance. However, my original issue was paying fee twice. If I am not wrong, "Tier 1 general applicant - dependants only" visa needs to ...

FLR + ILR Applications for Dependents

Hi I guess and hope someone has already gone through this situation and I'll get to hear some useful responses. I will complete my 5 years in UK in Dec 2011 and hence applying for ILR in Nov 2011. In the meantime, my wife and I are planning to have our first baby outside UK. My wife is leaving UK in...

I lived and worked in Belfast/UK for most of the year except for occasional 1-2 day travel to Dublin. In your favour. Was your income (in Euros) deposited in a UK bank account or overseas (Ireland or other) or in combination of both? Combination of both. Initial 3 months were in UK account and the ...

Thanks sushdmehta. I was working for a global consulting firm with a branch in Ireland. Though I was paid in Euros, I lived and worked in Belfast/UK for most of the year except for occasional 1-2 day travel to Dublin. I am legally required to pay tax since I was a resident of UK having spent more th...

Solihull and Croydon PEO

All

I read somewhere on this forum that Solihull PEO decides your ILR eligibility first before accepting fee. I believe its the other way in Croydon PEO. Can someone confirm this please?

If yes, is this unique to Solihull PEO?

Regards,
hsmp2006.

ILR vs Visa Extension

Dear All I came to UK in Dec 2006 and eligible for ILR in Dec 2011. However, I spent my initial 11 months in Belfast with frequent travel to Dublin since I was employed by an Irish firm. I was still a resident of UK during this period and have declared my Irish income in my 2007-2008 UK tax return. ...

Just to clarify, traffic violation penalty was served to the car rental agency and they settled the fine on my behalf. My details were not sent to the council I believe. I am bit concerned because my ILR is due this year and not sure if I need to declare this info. in application. Thanks in advance....

Driving Penalty

Hi

I got a penalty from council for driving a hired car in bus lane, but that was through car rental agency. I paid the entire amount and settled the penalty. I had used a non-UK driving license. Will this be considered criminal offense? Please advise.

Thanks for the quick response, Push. Was really wondering if 1600£ will be enough since mother is also in India at the moment and has never traveled to UK, though she has an approved dependent visa. I presume, from your response, that mother need not show additional 1600£ since she already has vis...

My sister and brother-in-law are maintaining about 1000£ in father's Indian account and 600£ in mother's Indian account. Both funds together make up required 1600£ for last three months. In add...

Hi

One of my friends is on a company sponsored Work Permit and wants to change to a Dependent Visa through her Husband's Visa.

She is currently in London. Her nationality is Indian. Can she get the Visa stamping done in London (or) She needs to go to India for it?

Thanks in Advance.
