The lack of joint bank accounts shouldn't be an issue, as the EEA national may rely on the resources of family members ( 4(2), 4(3), 4(4) ). However, it's more complicated . Unfortunately, the non-EAA family members cannot work before the EEA national is a qualified person ( 71 ). Put another way, ...

a lot depends if the country you have been living in has reciprocal arrangements with the UK. It depends on how long you have been out of the UK but it would appear that you have been out many years, given your previous posts. British Citizens living overseas are not entitled to pop back to the UK t...

but I've read that in a flatshare where each tenant pays for their bedroom separate, each tenant is responsible for his/her own license (this is my case); so according to this if I don't watch TV, but my flatmates do; I'm not liable for that, right? First point to note is as far as I can see your wife is the sponsor so her bank account is the one with the funds. The term about lawful is because if her visa had expired or she was doing something that she was not allowed to do she should would not be lawfully present. It is your wife's status not...

Are you actually in India? If your spouse does not normally require a visa, then they can get on a plane with you and you can fly together. If you have been in India one year you will have your residence book and possibly by now your PIO.
