Re: asylum fresh claim processing time

@Yahas

Section 98 rooms are usually shared, it is usually 2 in a room, some times it could be a hostel of 3 -10 people. What is most important is that you have a bed space. It is only in extremely rare cases you can get a room.

What @Stillwaiting was referring was Section 95 or Section 4

Good luck.

Re: Re:

@Yahas76 I have advised you to apply for emergency accommodation, when they give you emergency accommodation then you can request tailored services. But remember accommodations are provided on a no choice basis that implies you can be sent anywhere in the UK and even if you are lucky to stay in Lond...

Re: I need advice about my immigration status pls

Check the internet for the guidelines on domestic violence. That will be more helpful. You should make the application anyway since that is the main option you have. You cannot register with a new General Practice if you do not have proof of address and identity card. A proof of address can be a ban...

Re: asylum fresh claim processing time

Hello Yahayas, You know real life is not always represented on the internet. You should have walked into or travel a bit to law firms in your area and enquire first. It is better to have a solicitor close to you than one where you have to travel. I don't know if travel expenses to see a solicitor ar...

Re: asylum fresh claim processing time

It is formal to have a solicitor so they can help you prepare your case and they always know who to contact in the Home Office. I was told that with an asylum Application Registration Card(ARC) you can just walk into a law firm and get a legal aid solicitor(not every law firm does legal aid service)...

Re: asylum fresh claim processing time

Every case is different, so also is the case worker. I had my substantive interview 3 months after my screening interview. You can be invited anytime for substantive interview, the standard is that you can be invited two weeks after your screening interview despite the delays that are happening thes...

Re: asylum fresh claim processing time

You shouldn't worry about that or like you have been told that migrant help acts as the interface between you and the Home Office. Contact migrant to do that for you. I think you should get a solicitor though they may not bother themselves with such minor work. The Home Office has all your contacts,...

Congratulations on the grant of your visa. You were very patient and hardworking, it was indeed a very long journey.

Did you submit your bank statement when you made the application?

Re: asylum fresh claim processing time

Most of the requests on this site are about time frame. I think it is only God that knows specific time frames. I know it is unique to this generation because we have become impatient due to availability of technology. Every case is unique and will be treated according to it's own merits. Mine took ...

Re: I need advice about my immigration status pls

I think you are afraid, you already know the answer to that question. You have already validated from the website that you still have the right to work and that is it. If truly your wife reported you to the Home Office the problem you may have is that you may be apprehended at the border when you ar...

Re: Asylum interview suspended

Hi Aleeza, if for some reason your substantive interview was cancelled it can take long to get another one. In your case it is an infection implying it can affect others so they are giving you enough time to heal and that won't sound good to you. Just keep waiting until you hear from them.

Re: I need advice about my immigration status pls

Yeah I know I'm not up to speed with that law but you can see they are separated, that's what I was implying. The violence from his end won't affect his application as his wife won't have any input in his application unless she reports him to the Home Office. It is him against the Home Office, if he...

Re: I need advice about my immigration status pls

By law you should notify the Home Office about the problems in your marriage and also apply for "Indefinite Leave to Remain due to Domestic Violence". It could be a difficult uphill battle, the form fees are quite expensive. Like you can see the police didn't take your complaint serious, t...

There are no hard and fast rules about applying for asylum, you can apply for asylum and also include every other human rights reasons in your asylum claim that should include having an Irish child. Also try and get documentations that will prove that your child is Irish. Also try and get a legal aid...

Re: asylum fresh claim processing time

The right procedure should be to as soon as possible send your doctor's report to migrant help then they will forward it to the Home Office. The Home Office in turn will instruct Clear Springs on the location and the kind of accommodation they should provide for you.

Re: asylum fresh claim processing time

There is no certain time they will provide you accommodation. It's a waiting game until they provide you one. Your reasons for wanting to stay in a specific location should be backed up by a specific doctors report. The specific location is usually the county e.g London. Accommodation is provided on...

Hi Cr001, Many thanks for your response. My JR application wasn't successful, I was told the immigration judge that handed my case has a bad reputation. I've been in the UK for almost 9 years. I am from Nigeria Currently I am illegal in the country, I may be willing to go home but I don't want a sit...

Immigration advice for a health condition.

Hello Friends, I will like you all to advice me on which route to take, I am very ill due to a health condition that cannot be treated in my country. I want to know my right as a resident in UK. I know the home office abuse human rights, what should I do because I don't want to be illegally deported.

Re: Options for my case

Since you are convinced they will refuse your application and you intend to extend your time so you can apply for ILR on the 10 year route then apply for JR. Unless you are restricted from further application after JR which is unlikely. In a likely event after applying for JR if you achieve your tar...
