Re: Withdraw ILR application

Hi neeesz78, would be keen to hear if you had any success? i.e. if the refund request has been acknowledged? Perhaps its too soon given its only been a few days but I am in the same situation (different visa route though) but unsure of how straightforward the refund process is.

Thanks

Re: Working outside of the UK while on FLR(M)

Thanks CR001. Looking forward to hearing other people's responses too and especially from anybody who dealt with a similar situation. My intention of course is to stay in the country over the long term but the current job market in the UK (Brexit, etc) is making life uncertain for many (well, at lea...

Re: Working outside of the UK while on FLR(M)

Re:

Ok understood. Looks like long trips back to sunny blighty for when needs be then. The plan would be then to get a place before we go and rent it out. This, for application purposes, would be our UK home and a place we'd always intend to settle. With this and family links /correspondence /holidays ...

Re: Moving/working abroad effects on FLR (M)?

@jamesf, resurfacing this thread from the dead but I am in the same boat at the moment. Wondering how you guys were doing? and if you managed to move overseas and reapply for the FLR(M) without any trouble?

Thanks.

Re: FLR(M) waiting times

Quick questions to the forum - a. for those who have received their visa, is there usually a time lag between receiving the BRP and the passport/other documents? My solicitor in Leeds received the BRP today but I am not sure how to track my passport (its problematic for me given I have moved homes a...

Re: FLR(M) waiting times

I applied for an FLR(M) in the middle of July and still haven't received my visa. It's been 10 weeks tomorrow. After applying we got a biometric request for me to get finger prints at a post officer near by. I completed this within 2 days of receiving the letter. According to other posts here I sho...

Re: FLR(M) waiting times

12 weeks and counting. Strictly speaking 24 weeks and counting (but the home office made a clerical error and we had to resend our application to be processed from scratch 12 weeks ago). I got in touch with our local MP in Oxford and his immigration case worker is trying to get some information on m...

Re: FLR(M) waiting times

Resurfacing my previous post. Looking at other members here, it seems the only recourse is an agonizing wait. But I wanted to know how does one retrieve the passport? (regardless of the HO processing it). It's been 5 months without it and I really need to travel in October. Wanted to seek advice on ...

Re: FLR(M) waiting times

Wanted to seek advice on my situation Application sent - 18th March 2016 Application returned with visa rejection - 10th May, stating that I had failed to submit a few additional documents that were sought within a 10 working day period. Shot a letter back with postal receipts, clearly showing the d...
