Your passport should be returned to you within six weeks as it is stated on the website. However, sometimes it takes much longer. I think in six weeks you can write to the...

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

The best option is to seek legal advice. I applied in Aug 2016 and my application was not moving a bit ever since. I met a solicitor and after his letters to citizenship my application has been submitted to minister and now I am waiting for decision. I made a number of calls but to no avail. I even ...

Re: Seeking advice for delay on citizenship application

The fact that you called them and they actually picked up the line or you didn't hear "Sorry, the number you've dialled does not exist" is indeed interesting! Did you call one of these numbers below? Phone: +353 62 32500 LoCall: 1890 252 854 It is interesting indeed. I had been on my phon...

Re: Seeking advice for delay on citizenship application

OK guys. There is an important update for those who applied based on Irish Associations but they applied before 5 years of residency. I applied based on Irish Associations (my son is Irish) after 4 years. As per law Minister can waive, at their absolute discretion, two years of residency requirement...

Re: Anyone got approval - applied Nov 2016 (spouse Irish cit

It seems that you're in the advanced stage. And the final decision will be made by the minister given all the details of your app. Did you receive this update via e-mail? @Tatalo, @Syjem thanks for your responses. I received this letter by post. This letter is NOT in response to any query from my s...

Hi Everybody, Anyone got update from INIS regarding their application based on Irish Associations applied in mid of this year? I applied on 11th August and no response after acknowledgement on 19th September. I sent them email one month before and application still in initial stage. Very frustrating.

Re: 2016 Citizenship Approvals

@J_Karim

This was in Magistrate's court in England. As far as I know conviction is always in the court. Outside court fine is usually called Fixed Penalty Notice. It is issued by Police/Garda. Yes, I mentioned it in the application form. I ticked relevant boxes.

Re: 2016 Citizenship Approvals

Hi, I'm not nearly as experienced as some of the other members on this forum but I wouldn't think that it would affect your application based on what I've read. It's good that you disclosed it and, I presume, paid the fine? 8) I think you'll be fine. Yes. I paid fine immediately. It happened becaus...
