the issue here is they didn't live together for atleast 3 years and this 1 fact can simply allow INIS to establish beyond doubt that the residence card the non eu have became invalid the day eu citizen left the state. and in fairness and no office to shery it is true he is not entitled to this resid...

well if she left in 2014 means she didn't exercise her ue treaty right in state. marriage lasted 3 year rule applys that for those 3 years you have to be together and u were not. uk and Ireland share immigration history in simple word you don't have a right to this residence card get a solicitor may...

1) when did you got married month and year and where you guys got married?

2) when did your spouse left month and year?
3) where is your spouse orig from?
4) have you informed the INIS regarding your separation>?

this 3 year rule sounds ridicules I didn't search into that area yet but I think it fails common sense !

eu citizen and their family member must be treated equally this is the fundamental principle of eu directives.

its not small, sitting capacity is 1500 people in auditorium and 1200 in main hall and inis could hold 2 or 3 ceremonies in a day

I called citizenhip office yesterday was told my file is prepared but not yet submitted to the minister!

letter is not a visa and your not exempt until you have your residence card in your possession. letter can be use to proof your legal residence in Ireland while your in Ireland it can also revoke any removal order issued to you but its not an entry visa and its not a re entry visa so get a re entry ...

the amount you hav specified is more then ok I don't think there will be an issue to prove your self sufficiency.
just have some proof for each year make sure not to miss a full year without any proof of residence.

wait till more senior members respond I don't have much knowledge in Form eu1A

about the gnib number most people who apply already living here and are registered so they have gnib number its the number that is on our garda card they don't give it on airport when you will be here and filling your form you can email eu treaty section and ask them they reply pretty quick im sure ...

chris you should also look at other options fully relying on eu treaty rights as a British national could be a bit risky in current political environment i mean if the transition period is not agreed between uk and eu then your outside the protection of eu treaty rights therefore you wont be eligibl...
