Re: How to tell Initial from Second Stage

Does INIS always send a Second Stage letter by post in all cases? - Not in all cases I can say that for sure, some received their approval without Second Stage letter and some received Second Stage letter and then approval. Do they only send a physical letter if there is some complexity to the appl...

Re: Zambrano renewal

Yes, that's correct there is a new online appointment system. You can book an appointment up to 10 weeks early. A small number of extra near-term appointments are also released every day. If you can't book one straightaway, keep trying. It may take 2 or 3 days to find one. See all the details here h...

Re: Flight connection in London - Ryanair

Because she’s technically entering / transiting a EU country (landing in London, collecting bags, checking in for her Ryanair flight to Ukraine, etc.) I don’t think she can travel on her own without a visa and without you (EU citizen). Most EU countries will only allow your wife to enter or transit ...

Re: Flight connection in London - Ryanair

Correct me if I’m wrong but there is no passport control in London when you land from Ireland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands because of the Common Travel Area (CTA). I have done this route (Dublin – London) several times for work and was never asked to show my passport. ...

Re: Advanced Stage - What does it really mean?

I guess no one here can answer your question with completely accuracy unless they work at the Citizenship Division or know their internal processes at first hand. There is no a huge delay on your application, others have been waiting for more than a year. I would recommend to stay patient and hope y...

Re: Non Eu National with Irish Residency Travel Europe count

@Oliviasafwat you do need visas for Schengen countries if you are travelling on your Egyptian passport.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visa_requ ... n_citizens

If you hold a Stamp 4 EUFAM in Ireland and travelling / joining your EU family member then you can travel without visa.

@MrScarface I think this link should contain all the information you need. Since you didn’t specify your nationality I will assume you are Swiss or EU/EEA citizen (except Irish), if you are Irish national the process to follow is slightly different. http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/EU+Treaty+Rig...

Re: Naturalization Based of EuFam - Delay

@ka01 naturalisation is a privilege and not a right so you will need to sit tight and wait for the outcome, unfortunately there is no much else we can do.

Re: Naturalization Based of EuFam - Delay

@ka01 I wouldn't worry too much, it looks like the delay is general as others have been posting similar concerns. The next ceremony is April 21st so in my view you have a good chance of being included, apparently they send invitation letters 4 or 5 weeks before it is scheduled to occur so there is s...

Re: Change address

What's your current situation in the State? I guess if you provide some sort of proof of address that should be sufficient.

Every Division at INIS has their own postal or e-mail address, see below.

Technically if travelling with your British husband you shouldn’t need a UK visa but I would recommend to check with the Home Office, check this link.

Re: Naturalisation

Basically you will need to have 1,825 or 1,826 days (5 years) of reckonable residence in Ireland.

So, if you have been living in Ireland legally for 5 years you can apply for a Naturalisation Certificate.

That's correct.
