Naturalisation marries to a naturalised British citizen

I have recently received my ILR, and married to a naturalised British citizen.

I understand there is a rule that if married with a British citizen, an individual could apply for citizenship right away.

Does the rule also stand for naturalised British citizen or do I have to wait another year?
Thanks

Re: ILR whilst in the US

Thanks for the clarity. I suppose if I'm returning to the UK with visa still valid, there shouldn't be any problems at all as long as I send my application after I return.

Thanks so much indeed for your help.

Re: ILR whilst in the US

Apologies, I am currently on a spouse visa(extension), and I suppose due for extension/ILR on June 29th. Thanks in advance

Edit: would I come across any problem leaving/entering the UK given that my visa is due for extension/renewal on June 29th?

ILR whilst in the US

Apologies if wrong section. Hi, I would be very grateful if I could get some advice. My spouse visa extension is due on June 29 this year. My family are planning to go the the US from 23rd of May to 13th June. Would I come across any issues at all? I am planning to apply for my ILR either whilst I’m...

Re: BRP

Yeah that's the dilemma we have. The BRP update is supposedly 3 months grace period after name change. We were initially thinking of renewing altogether whilst it's within grace period. But I think we're @0 days nshort. So I wonder we can get away without updating BRP.

BRP

Basically my wife's spouse visa expires on December 28, 2019. She has recently renewed her passport with a new name which was issued August 17, 2019. The question is, would she require an update of her BRP prior to her renewal on end of November 2019. I am aware that we could be fined £1000 if we do...

Re: From fiance visa to spouse visa

I am extremely grateful for all your replies. We're currently going through the form now. I would be very grateful if I could just have some guidance with these questions as they can be very confusing. 1.1 Your title - please tick? I'm not exactly sure if my wife is Ms. or Mrs. I am under the impres...

Re: From fiance visa to spouse visa

In regards to proving that she has been staying with us. Do I need to register her in the council? Also is it possible to name her as the account owner for BT to serve as proof of her stay with us, as we are currently transferring to another broadband provider. Or would this over-complicate things. ...

Re: From fiance visa to spouse visa

Absolute thankful with the replies. Is there a grace period where we have to submit the application before her visa expires? I saw 28 days whilst skimming through a bunch of threads. I seriously have no idea where I got the £1400 visa application fee from. So lets say the application decision lasts ...

From fiance visa to spouse visa

Hi, I just have a few queries with converting my wife's fiance visa to spouse visa. We have recently gotten married and her visa is due to expire on the 28th of July 2017. We are hoping to submit our application at the end of the June. I would just like to clarify a few things such as fees. As far a...

Re: Fiance visa.

I'm not exactly sure on how to setup our photographs together? Do they have to be actual photographs or using a word document to stick all photos together? How do i go about captioning it? in brief detail with time, date, location and people involved? Passport photos! Applicant's right? Because I hav...

Re: Fiance visa.

So is it the VAF4A that is essential as it provides them the information that I would be shouldering everything? Is it important to provide her bank statement as well as recent payslips?

Re: Fiance visa.

Sponsor form (SU07) You do not need this for a fiance visa. It is for older dependent relatives (i.e parents or grandparents). Copies of your passport are sufficient as fiance is applying from abroad and UKVI would not expect the original passport of sponsor. I was advised to fill out the sponsor f...

Re: Fiance visa

Absolute thanks casa. Thing is I've got online copies of my bank statement, as well as 12 months issue of my bank statement from the actual bank but no address in place, which I had to pay £10 for. Unfortunately, they are not offering such service apparently. I simply don't know what else to do. Als...

Re: Fiance visa

I appreciate the assistance!! We're just collectively getting our requirements. I've come and hit a wall again. Re: Inquiry in regards to fiance/marriage visa.

In regards to evidence of the wedding being planned considering we want a civil ceremony rather than church wedding. Would registration with the home office suffice as...
