Re: Biometrics appointment - how does it work?

So does anyone know what you get at an enhanced service centre that you don't get at a core service centre (without buying extra services)?

Biometrics appointment - how does it work?

We submitted our FLR (M) application yesterday, and booking the biometrics appointment raised a few questions I can't find clear answers to: 1. On most of the forum timelines I've seen, people attend an appointment within fewer than 5 days of submitting their application. How is this possible? The s...

FLR (M) difficult questions

I've almost finished the online application for FLR (M), but want to clarify two questions. I've heard the answers would only be relevant if the application was denied, so I'm not sure whether to go into detail. What family or friends do you have in the country where you were born and/or any other c...

Re: FLR (M) document check

I know there is a lot of correspondence, but we have included as much as possible in case anything isn’t considered permissible. Are pension and insurance letters valid as correspondence? You only need items for every 3 or 4 months spread evenly over the last 2.5 years. Usually 6 items in joint nam...

Hi, My husband was granted his initial leave to remain on 26th October 2016, and his visa expires on May 24th 2019. We are hoping to submit the FLR (M) application in the next few days, and would be grateful for advice on the documents we’re submitting. Mandatory documents Biometric Residence Permit...

Re: FLR (M) document checklist

We're in a muddle over one last bit... we're relying on my income as the sponsor, but want to be completely honest on section 7.3A. My partner is not currently working, but has had temporary jobs in the last 6 and 12 months. Therefore, it's not accurate to put 'N/A' throughout that section for him,...

FLR (M) document checklist

Hello, My husband and I have a Premium Centre appointment in a few days, and it would be great if anyone could take a look at the list of documents we have prepared as evidence. A bit of context: he is an Indian national, and first came to this country as a student in September 2014 - his student vi...

Employer salary confirmation

I'm asking my employer to write the letter confirming my employment details. I need clarification on this point: "the period over which they have been or were paid the level of salary relied upon in the application" My salary has increased multiple times since I started in 2014, and once i...
