On 09 Oct documents submitted with Gerys at Lahore.EC as HSMP was stamped on 23 Oct and passport was returned on 30 Oct.
There can be delay if verification is carried out.

Initial duration can be upto two years and visa officer uses his discretion in every case.
It may be blessing in disguise as for extension I would be required to show lesser earnings in Uk as compared to a person who got visa of two years.

APPEAL- REVIEW

It is called review and not appeal. For review there is a prescribed form and metod is mentioned in the refusal letter.This board should not be used for such a simle qureies. Rather you should mention the basis of not awarding points claimed and seek advice regarding your proposed groungs of review....

Letter from employer is more crediable and convenient for case worker if it corosponds to tax return.

I got approval on tax return and employer letter text of which is given under the topic " ANY ONR FROM PAKISTAN---"

Each case has its own merit

SALARY CERTIFICATE

Actual purpuse of certificate is to verify that earnings in the previous 12 months exceeds the prescribed limit which is not evident from one month certificte. No risk should be taken which is avoidable.
