Re: EEA PR card to Naturalisation timeline

Hi noajthan, I wasn't aware of the 6(1) and 6(2) BNA application, but a quick google search yielded that to apply under 6(2) one must be married to a British citizen, is this correct? If so, I would be applying under 6(1). Either way, what you say makes perfect sense. Nonetheless, the following ques...

EEA PR card to Naturalisation timeline

Hi all, I am currently applying for the EEA PR card and I am slightly confused about how long I have to wait to then apply for Naturalisation to become a British citizen. Below is an extract from the AN booklet: But remember that, unless you are married to or the civil partner of a British citizen, ...

Re: EEA PR - Lacking proof of residency

Thanks for your reply LilyLalilu. What you say makes perfect sense and I thought the same, but when I asked the Gov UK helpline about the exact same thing they told me that the P60s /the letter of employment count for section 9 of the application (Relevant EEA national's activity in the UK) and not ...

EEA PR - Lacking proof of residency

Hi all, I have been in the UK for 9+ years now (4 years as a student and 5 years in full time employment) and I want to apply for the EEA PR card on the basis of my most recent 5 years in the UK as full time employee (Sept 2011 - Sep 2016). I am struggling to find 2 proofs of residence for the years...

EEA Permanent Residence - Absences

Hi, I have a related question. I have been in the UK since 2007 but I want my 5 year PR period to be the one from 2011 - now (full time employment). I am unsure whether I need to list all my absences from 2007 onwards or just the ones for the past 5 years? When I called the helpline several people g...

Re: Do I need CSI proof? 9 years in UK, 5 years employed

Thanks for your replies Wise and noajthan. The old form does seem a lot simpler to fill out, has anyone used this one successfully recently? Also, on the current form, if I don't want to submit any CSI proof, which answer would I tick under section 9.11? The options are EHIC / Form S1 / Form S2 / Fo...

Do I need CSI proof? 9 years in UK, 5 years employed

Hi all, I have called the Enquiries from European citizens UK helpline and got two different answers about my question, so I am a little confused. I have been in the UK for just over 9 years now: - Sep 2007 - Sep 2011 as a BSc and MSc student - Sep 2011 - Present in full time employment The EEA PR a...
