Hi Elfa,

I heard that a British PR holder (Indefinite Leave to Remain) could work in Rep of Ireland without work permit due to special arrangement or the Common Travel Area. Can you confirm or otherwise with details?

If this is not true, then what is so special about Common Travel Area?

Work in Republic of Ireland with British ILR

TT mentioned there is an agreement with Rep of Ireland means those with British ILR can live/work there.

Can anyone confirm that with more details ?
