Had the same issue. Looks like it takes between 6-8 weeks to get a Work Permit for Belgium. My client backed off when they came to know they have to wait that long

Well my plan is to enter the UK with my family on HSMP and then from there move on to work in Belgium while I simultaneously look for work in the UK. I believe that should not be an issue. What needs to be done on Arriving in the UK

I recieved my HSMP Approval just before the rules changed. Plan to go for my EC. And plan to fly to UK mid of Jan.

Can somebody help me out with the steps that need to be done on landing. My main concern is Health insurance etc..

All of this is more relevant to a Foreign national. But in your case I have now applied online for EC in the US and now have to send certain things to the office in New York. Isn't she a UK citizen by birth

Since the baby was born on UK can't she claim for UK citizenship. I am from the US and under the law here any baby born on US soil can automatically claim US citizenship irrespective of their parents status in the country. Any input if that is not the same in the Uk would be greatly appreciated
