Re: Passport Application Destination: where to send it

Hi CR001,

Thank you for your reply. I makes sense to send them to locations according to workload. I was just a bit confused because like I said living so close to Durham in my mind it would have made sense to send it there.

Thanks again!

Passport Application Destination: where to send it

Hello, This is probably a silly question, and if so I do apologise. Both my sister and I applied for our passport online via the Beta application service. After filling out the form, and printing it off as requested I noticed that on my sister the advice was to send it to the passport office in Durh...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro

**ANXIETY** It took me nearly 10 months to get ILR approval. I am so anxious lately about the AN application. In the last week I wait and hope for that brown envelope and even though I know it's a little bit early (my application was received 26th October) I still feel awfully anxious that I may be...

Re: PCN and traffic offence

You have to declare the FPN, but you don't have to declare the PCN's.

I would suggest to do declare the FPN, whether or not you received any points. Just to make sure. The HO will find out about the FPN and if you haven't declared it they might think that you tried to hide it from them.

Citizenship Application Average Waiting Time

Hello all, Following recent discussions on the forum why some people get their approval more quickly than others, or why some people have been waiting for much longer, I thought I'd let you know that the average number of calendar days between “Application Raised Date” and “First Case Outcome Date” ...

Re: Question: time frame between approval & ceremony arrange

So how long does it usually take to get an invitation to the ceremony after receiving the approval letter? it's been a week and still no letter from the council. their website allows to book it but it says my reference number is not found. Sent an email them - no reply, probably they all gone for C...

Re: Question: time frame between approval & ceremony arrange

Hi, thanks for your replies. Surely there must be some kind of exception in place to avoid penalisation of the applicant if the delay is not their fault?

Question: time frame between approval & ceremony arrangement

Hello all, I am asking for my sister as I have already arranged my citizenship ceremony. My sister is waiting for her approval letter, and obviously we hope that it will arrive very soon. Current events of postal delays due to Christmas and potential strikes made me wonder though: you have 21 days f...

Re: Parking Ticket Concern

@newbie0203: Sorry? You agree that FPN has to be delcared. A PCN (i.e. my ticket) does not have to be declared?

Re: Parking Ticket Concern

Sorry to bother you again, maybe I am misreading this after all? If the ticket was issued by the council, wouldn't it be a PCN rather than a FPN? 3.1 – 3.2 You must give details of all criminal convictions both within and outside the United Kingdom. These include road traffic offences. Fixed penalty...

Parking Ticket Concern

Hello all, I have just realised after reading in the forum that I forgot to declare a parking ticket from May 2014. I paid the fine to the Council the same day I received the parking ticket, and admittedly simply forgot about it until today. In the application guidelines it states that: "Fixed ...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro

I've noticed. They might have hired additional staff due to higher volumes of applications, or maybe they're just working quicker to get more applications approved or refused before Christmas? Does anyone know (maybe someone who has been on the forum for a few years) whether processing times decreas...

Re: B1 English exam.

I never received any kind of booklet or advice on the structure of the test, so I looked up information online. The format is a simple conversation between two candidates. The examiner will ask you questions about yourself, and give a topic to talk about with each other. I found it very simple, howe...
